I love these things, they’re so nice to drive. But I cannot justify the price of a 36K SEL when I can get a WRX Limited for the same price that is not only a hell of a lot more fun to drive but more reliable and cheaper to run. Only drawback is the cargo capacity.
Do you mean like “SUV” “Sport Utility Vehicle” (not sport-y).
how well does the ridgeline sell? I see then occasionally but not often enough to warrant competition. In what ways would this be better than the honda? Surely it will cost more and be less reliable while depreciating more quickly.
I’ve used those before, and I like them a lot. But the step is way better if you are going to be using it for an extended time.
No horsepower: More HP stock than most V8s were making in the day.
That is not a 2016 Impala....that’s a 2013 or older.
Boomer?
I’m a millennial and this is nostalgia to me. Had the poster on my wall as a teen.
Mid 12s is plenty fast no matter what the HP is.
Hmmm... Why no mention of horsepower? Is the owner embarrased?
Black cabs are way more expensive than renting a car would have been! Whenever I am in London I just whip out my oyster card and take the underground.
Yeah. You are already willingly agreeing to your movements being tracked. Those movements being associated with the photo on your passport. But then making sure that you are in fact that person on that passport? That’s a stretch? Haha.
They’re scanning a passport photo and then your face right there. You’ve already sent in copies of your picture to the government to GET the passport. They’ve seen your face. They know who you are. They track the passport to know where you’re going.
The reason why they obsess over 1-3 MPG on trucks instead of bigger MPG gains elsewhere is that those small gains on trucks have as much impact on their fleet averages, with less expenditure.
Truck manufacturers keep obsessing over 1 to 3 mpg increases, who cares? Hybrids should be able to deliver 10 to 30 mpg increases.
Previous truck was a dodge... I kept it 13 years and other than a couple items early on that were covered under warranty it had been the best vehicle I had ever owned to that point. Now I’m in an F-150 that is six years old and it has had zero issues. They all have come a long way and the old dodge is shit…
Could your Outback tow 10,000 lb or fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood?
I’m disappointed with the Jalop writers on this.
Is there such a thing as an American V8 for only $5000 that’s not terrible on gas?
I’m surprised.
