Technically, the one offered here is half the truck of this being the Bronco II instead of a full size.

Realistically, you should be comparing it to a Traverse not a Tahoe.
But Toyota does AWD in the Sienna not by raising the floor but by only allowing captains chairs and not a bench in the second row.
How are the Pilot and the Tahoe reasonably close in price? A base model LS Tahoe starts at $47,900, and the top level Premier trim level starts at $62,600.. A Honda Pilot base LX starts at $31,450, and the top level Touring trim starts at $42,520. That is a $15k-$20k differential for comparable trim levels.
A intercom? Really? What happened to just telling your kids to shut the fuck up or walk home?
But if you can’t be unconvinced that SUVs are where it’s at, consider this: a four-wheel drive Tahoe gets rated at 18 mpg in combined driving, an AWD Pilot is supposed to do 22. A Tahoe has a factory claimed 15.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind its third row, a Pilot has 18.5. They’re not considered direct…
This is getting old.. Just because a truck or full size SUV doesn’t have a trailer connected during in rush hour traffic or while parked in a mall parking lot doesn’t mean they don’t tow.
As someone who has driven EVERY other option over the last year. The interior of the CX-9 was 10 steps above the competition. The interior space on the other-hand.. that was a deal breaker.
Comparing a Pilot to a Tahoe or Expedition is pretty silly.
The Pilot is 7" shorter, 2" narrower and 3" lower than the Tahoe. So it makes sense it should feel smaller...
Smart: Honda Pilot
Standard towing is 3,500 pounds, but an optional pulling package adds a transmission cooler and ups that rating to 5,000.
I am sure this is a very good family vehicle but I can’t get over how bulbous it looks, not that many buyers will care...but that dull grey interior looks terrible, does it come in brown?
Those engines made pretty decent torque for the time....generally more tq than HP
Thank you.
EVen with the turbo that is one big ass car for 145 measly horses. There is absolutely nothing performance about it.
Extensive paintwork. Never been vacuumed. CP.
Newer cars, even FCA cars, last way way longer. Older cars are easier and cheaper to maintain because a lack of fancy electronics, but newer ones will go longer with less TLC. I didn’t know people debated this. Hm.
I’d rather pick the car that enables me to walk away from a nasty crash
