It’s worth noting that this was with the little 129hp 1.5L engine, not the hairy-chested 155hp 2.0L bruiser we get here in Americaland.

Aside from the fact the NA Ring Banana said it used 10 year old tyres (I personally think that is a dangerous thing to do on a race track, let alone a road) It’s seemingly in poor condition with a lot of rust. I think with fresh boots it would do a lot better. Still be cheaper too.
Fucking idiots.
if you look (i am sure part of the wieght in older harley’s) the trans case looks incorporated to the engine, menaing more compact and lighter.
Dude I’m 49 and have been riding since I was 16. Last bike was a 1969 BSA A65 fully rebuilt by me.
Ballsy? oh yes. Good Rider? meh. He has absolutely terrible body positioning. He’s leaning the bike over and not moving his body around. This leads to him leaning the bike over way too far and nearly losing it. And the fact that the recording rider stayed with him, shows that he wasn’t going that fast.
Is it really knee-dragging when you have to lean your torso in the opposite direction?
My first thought looking at their streetfighter was, “Oh, a new Buell.”
“Harley stores in malls.”
Killing Buell has to Harley’s fourth-biggest mistake, behind “make the bikes loud and obnoxious,” “only market to baby boomers,” and “jack the price up without improving quality”
I wonder if Harley is regretting that they screwed up Buell?
mad that people are asking money for something meant to be thrown away.
I have 2011 with a six speed MT and it is a near death trap merging onto the freeway
The only plausible reason I have is that the CR-Z existing only with a hybrid drivetrain seems to indicate that it’s some sort of tax dodge.
I think it was the Insight coupe that showed the potential of green driving. The CRZ was just a horrid mistake.
We tested one (‘13 model year, I think?), and utterly *hated* it. I wasn’t enthralled with the idea in the first place, but was out testing cars in ’15 for the wife and the Honda dealership had one still sitting on the lot for two years. It felt slow, was really, really loud (as in road noise), and felt cramped even…
The CR-Z is the car that enthusiasts seem to hate
“If Honda were to offer a similar car today with the Civic’s 1.5-liter turbo engine and a plug-in hybrid electric motor boosting power to around 250 horses, it’d be a stellar little ride.”
I was explaining the concept of ghost riding the whip to my sister last week! How was the concept forgotten?
