Nice looking T4R! I have a ‘14 Limited but am somewhat limited in ability to upgrade as it’s a family wagon/wife’s daily. Only added a Gobi Rack with ladder thus far. Love my 4Runner!

Only if I divorced my wife...she was the spendy one, and now that I have her trained, all she wants is to pay off her loans and our house as soon as possible, which means my toy is a $15k Abarth, and my dog transporter/winter car/mountain toy will probably not be a fully customized 4Runner :)

Hot damn that is sweet!! Trail with bunch of goodies - it seems to me you have at least $8k on top of your purchase price in visible aftermarket goodies. Very very nicely done. I am due for a new vehicle in October and 4Runner trail kdds is on top of my list - I just hate the price :)

If I had use for a truck, I’d get a Taco. My father in law has one and it’s pretty great. My dad’s always been a Chevy guy, never much liked them. I just with you could get a 2WD V6 with a stick anymore.

Right now there are two square and earnestly capable 4x4s on the U.S. market; the Jeep Wrangler (187,111 sales this year so far) and the Mercedes-Benz G-Class (3,075 sales)

It is absolutely one of the most capable SUVs out there as far as overlanding goes. What you can do with it in terms of upgrades...is just addicting. Mine barely looks stock anymore. Building this thing has been a blast.
