Yeah, we live in a world where competition has been eroding at an accelerated rate.
Always sucks to see people lose their jobs, but I HATED Loot Crate and am happy to see them go.
If you plan on selling your figures down the road, then I could understand your frustration. But if you admire them and plan on keeping them for the foreseeable future, why does it matter if they’re opened?
And how do you suppose this would work in communities where there are tens of thousands of people? It wouldn’t.
This is essentially an identical scenario to when the baby boomers could finally start buying up the muscle car legends from their childhood, and subsequently jacked up the prices to insane levels.
I’ll probably get roasted for saying this, but cosplay makes me cringe.
I grew up with the series but now, at 32, I’m over it.
