Small, small sample size at the end of the day. I think one should stay away from using the relatively small amount of SEMI-autonomous cars as a good example of how they’re doing up to this point.

I think the average person blows autonomous cars way out of proportion. There’s no way we’ll be fully automated any time soon and, in fact, I think many of us will be long gone by the time we see it happen. There are far too many variables at play, including the mass changes we’ll see in the insurance world over time.
