How do I seem “lost and out of touch?” I gave legitimate reasons as to why I think FF XV is overall not a good game. Furthermore, this is a public forum where anyone can comment and discuss. The better question is: why did you even waste your time responding to my comment when you have little to nothing to add?

I didn’t use XIII as a counter example in my main post. It was a response to someone else who brought up XIII.

The irony of it all is that FFXV doesn’t have much in the way of towns, either. There’s a tiny-ass hub (Hammerhead and two main towns, both of which provide the same thing as the other, mundane hunts and a million more fetch quests. FFXV is probably the worst offender in the series when it comes to fetch quests.

Potions are incapable of healing you all the way, which I don’t recall the game doing a great job of explaining. You have to use elixers.

Yeah, I’ve played every main entry as well, barring 11 and 14 as they’re MMOs, which I don’t play. 13 was a fantastic story with solid gameplay, 15 was a chopped up mess with uneven pacing and tons of technical issues. Towering achievement? You’ve set the bar real low.

The randomness of the segue between the 14th and 15th chapters was so jarringly out of place. Powerful? Sure, if you think rushed story segments are powerful.

My reaction to this is a big, fat MEH. FFXV was so underwhelming. Such wasted potential. What they should have done is focus on getting it right the first time by giving us a camera that worked properly, combat that didn’t feel all over the place, a meaningful, well developed story with proper character development, a…
