Okay. For what it’s worth, I agree that the guy’s a racist/homophobe/sexist/scumbag and has a bunch of dickheads in his cabinet who share (and in some cases, define/redefine) his awful traits. It’s just hard for me to take the opinion of a writer at a major publication seriously when that writer uses overtly biased

Whether I agree with you or not, it’s hard to take this seriously when the dislike for the guy/overall bias is made as obvious as you make it here (and for the most part, I DO agree with you). =\

You’re welcome.

Oh no, you didn’t name call. You just condescended. If that’s the high-road you think you’re taking, you should reconsider the whole “being honest with oneself” thing.

Wow. You’re being a douchebag to a guy who has a valid point for no reason at all, eh? If it sucks to be anyone here, it ain’t him, and it sure as hell ain’t me. Run along now, fella.

Hey Kirk, this line here isn’t correct:

“Somewhere between Arkham City and Arkham Knight, the Joker’s blood was shipped off to hospitals and infected a handful of civilians, each of whom begins to display signs of the Joker’s mania and even his personality.”

In Arkham City, the Joker tells Batman while he still has

Riddler agents turned green when in detective vision. They were marked. Still think the amount of effort they demanded for the “true ending” was unreasonable, but at least they marked those agents in a fairly obvious manner.

Hey Jason! Your second question to Nintendo’s rep included a portion about the new Virtual Console, and the rep’s reply included the following:

Alpha is “proof-of-concept,” eh?

...I thought “proof-of-concept,” long before Alpha, was “proof-of-concept?”

2 and 1/2 years later — your foresight here was staggeringly accurate. It still frustrates me to the point of anger that they had the dreadnaught development completed in its entirety before the release of vanilla, yet they withheld its release until a year and three expansions later. What a fucking joke.

Destiny is a s

“Usually you ‘quit’ playing something when you find something comparable that’s new.”

If I see a game is coming out that I think I’ll like, it doesn’t matter in the slightest whether or not it is/will be “comparable,” only that it’s good enough to monopolize my gaming time, putting me in a situation where I won’t even

My group of friends was roughly 75% male, 25% female. I can honestly say none of us guys would’ve ever dreamed of disrespecting one of our female friends that way. For one thing, they were our friends, and we didn’t want to fuck that up. For another, I don’t think any of us would’ve found it funny to slap anyone

The list is solid! Two things:

I thought he said “don’t fuck this guy” the first time I heard it. Did you honestly hear “fuck this game,” Samer? I don’t really think that would’ve even made sense for him to say, so I mean, I don’t know — the context probably would’ve informed what I’d thought he said if there were ever any doubt in my mind. This

If one had to kill the other, it’d be the 40th time a game in this series has made a grown man (me) cry like a baby.

“I don’t want to get into a semantics battle...”

...next four paragraphs are volleys in a semantics battle.

Hey Jason — I agree that this was an excellent review. Thank you for putting in an appropriate amount of time (one reflective of the amount of time the more hardcore players will probably realistically put in) to give us a thorough overview of what we can expect re: strengths AND weaknesses within the game.

This isn’t newsworthy.

If Blizzard specifically says “we’re not talking about it at Blizzcon,” and then they don’t talk about it at Blizzcon, the sentence “People may understandably feel misled when Blizzard is communicating like that” is asinine. There’s nothing understandable about feeling misled by a company when that company does exactly

I genuinely don’t think they’re comparable in that they belong in different sub-sub-genres (yep, those are things that I just made up just now). They’re both great, great horror games, but the suspense and fear I felt playing Alien: Isolation came from the incredible sound design and gorgeous (in the most terrifying
