The only time white southerners pretend to worry about women getting raped is when black dudes might be doing it.

All I have to say is this: If "real journalists" ever covered—I don't know banking, politics, the military—with anything like the determination and persistence we've seen in the reporting on the Sim City disaster, we might live in a very different and better society. Alas.
So really they're trying to sell us on their need to sell us a multiplayer game that never needed to be multiplayer. I can imagine how Sim City might be fun to play with friends, but not every game needs a multiplayer component. Especially not Sim City. I'm starting to feel like every developer does it because it's…
I thought BF 3 was pretty awesome, even the campaign. I acknowledge that I may be the only one.
I laughed so hard when you said David Gregory and "serious journalist" in the same sentence that I farted a little bit.
They did say, pre-launch that this wouldn't be the case. RPS has an article from 2012 to that effect. If you look at some of the articles from yesterday, you're sure to find the link to that. Kotaku posted a similar article, that basically said that individual sims would have an identity during the time they were…
God, this is just embarrassing. Either deliver or don't, but shit, don't promise something and then just half-ass it. This is, what, the second game this year that should have just been canceled instead of released.
That's great, but at the same time, I feel like you shouldn't have to mod a game just to get basic playability out of it.
I'm just amazed by how bad this is. Server issues aside, I find it disappointing that the actual patches of land you can develop look like they're a good bit less than 1 km x 1 km. That's not a city. That's barely a neighborhood.
Yeah. As I was booting it up the first time I got a warning that basically said, "This game will not play on your weak-ass laptop," even though I've got a relatively new computer.
It seems like the actually city plots you can use are a good bit smaller than in the Sim City I remember. Is that the case, and if so, can your town grow into a kind of metropolis by merging with other nearby plots? If the city has to stay on the small side that seems like slightly less fun. What's the max population?…
