I feel the same way about the complaints that her show isn't diverse enough, or that her character's love interests aren't diverse enough. IT'S HER SHOW. She's a woman of color. She doesn't owe it to anyone to make her show some paragon of racial balance, especially when the real world doesn't have that balance. She

I'm not really a fan of Mindy Kaling, but I bristle at the suggestion that there is a checklist of issues that any tv show must cover. She doesn't want to cover the topic, that's fine. I also don't feel it appropriate to put the screws to every tv show to be a sounding board for every politically correct topic known

Maybe it's too serious ... for Mindy Kaling? Maybe she's not ready/able/willing to be the poster girl for all WoC in the media and also receive the kind of flack that's guaranteed to come with such a fraught topic? (Hasn't she also gotten some guff for being less than sensitive about a few other topics? My memory is

Watched the video, perfectly fine except for the fact he's doing this while driving his whole family in the car and often stops looking at the road. But then I noticed the title. Come on guys, stop being such a pair of dickheads!

The one I hated more was that Frozen singalong in the car. Where the couple had uploaded it to youtube themselves with the title "Good Looking Parents Sing Disney's Frozen". How up yourself do you have to be to call yourselves Good Looking Parents in the title of your own video?

she's so smart and sexy *~*

I agree. I see a lot of similarities between this family and the Vine "stars" vying for a contract. Anyone can be famous regardless of talent (COUGH Kim Kardashian COUGH) and it's so fucking boring at this point.

The stairs video is great because the kids are the stars. It's sentimental because whether you have kids or not, a lot of us remember that feeling of coming downstairs or down the hall on Christmas day. If you do have kids, you realize how quickly that time goes by.

I just learned that a couple of weeks ago, too. Also that Phil Collins, David Crosby, and Jimmy Buffett are in that movie. And as far as I can tell, all of Dustin Hoffman's children/relatives.

"The lotion and the powder have turned into a paste!"

They're not coming on, man.

Now to the more pressing question: is it okay to wear paste pants?

"Hornswaggel? What, are you dating a character from Fraggle Rock?!"

You're such a doll! <3

Mark is the best.

Oh no, I understood that you enjoy it. As I am also single and childless in my 30s, I know how fun it is! The "killing it" part was in relation to your comments, which I always thoroughly enjoy.

OMG! That is me! You remember!

Uh, I think you mean "single, childless, and killing it" on the tombstone. Of course, you could just forgo the tombstone and become fireworks with me and cheerful ex-girlfriend.

Hasn't she already said her album's done and coming out this year though? Or maybe it's wishful thinking on my part.

Did your thesis project bring you a personal form of catharsis and empowerment, while also drawing attention to a subject that requires more debate and more attention? A subject that has in previous years been brushed aside and hidden, but that once brought into the light of day not only forces people to have
