I say this as a dyed-in-the-wool environmentalist: at some point, we need to get people who don’t give a shit about the environment to also buy EVs. We need to get everyone (or at least most people) driving vehicles that aren’t powered by fossil fuels if we are to have a hope of preserving at least some of the Earth’s

So much for the “fewer mechanical parts, greater reliability” theory for EVs.  I assume it was the cooling system?

If you have the money for this, you have the money for solar power which means you can drive this pretty cleanly regardless of how efficient it is on electric

I like Coca Cola Life, and always buy a couple of 12 packs of it when it was on sale at Kroger, or another local grocery.

I get that franchisees take issue with the $5 loss leader, and I sympathize. Ultimately, however, I’m going to buy what’s affordable, and the poor bastard behind the counter is going to get paid the same (likely shitty) wage no matter what I order.

Nah, I love customers like you...what I hate are the people that have to have literally every topping; like, half of the shit doesn’t even work together, they just think they’re losing money if they don’t get everything...then the shit’s impossible to close.

Comme ca.

I had read some pretty harsh reviews of this season but we're really enjoying them so far. I think Matt and Noel's chemistry is fun, not that we don't miss Mel, Sue, and Sandy. The show continues to evolve and entertain, it's a cool breeze in the radioactive wasteland that is 2020 so far.

The last few seasons were not doing it for me, but this one seems to get the right dose of comedy and charm.

You must have gone to Lou Malnati’s.

But with the IndyCar engine regs changing for 2022, Ferrari could easily become an approved engine supplier. They have the money and the engineering prowess, it just really comes down to whether IndyCar would want them and what they’d all get out of it.

They’re still making the packs out of many cells, they’re just arranged, joined, and cooled differently. Aside form being cost effective, it’s tougher to get the power needed out of a single large pack, not too mention charging issues, cooling issues, etc...

So this. Every devout Dunkiner I’ve met is always a cream and sugar person. At the very least cream. That stuff is horrendous taken black.  Dunkin Dark is at least drinkable.

Did you even read that article before posting it?

There are limits to how big you can make an electric cell, which are generally pretty small. And any given battery technology has it’s own nominal voltage, which are generally pretty low. For example, the familiar “alkaline” battery chemistry will always be 1.5 volts. A 9 volt alkaline battery actually contains 6 1.5

There’s a doughnut place near me that I describe as “The way Dunkin Donuts used to make their doughnuts.” Everyone my age (43) or older knows exactly what I mean and knows I mean it as praise.

their coffee is a vehicle for cream and sugar, thats all.  can’t stand on its own.

Back in the Late Bronze Age when they still cooked their donuts in-store, they were great. The product was absolutely fresh and they had a lot more variety. I was a kid then so I have no idea what their coffee was like. Now their goods are centrally produced (maybe some of the oldest locations still prepare on-site, I

The response has been lukewarm from what I’ve heard so far.
