Moxie Crimefighter is a strong name. My wife and I are like a week away from having a baby and I’m totally going to suggest this when I get home today.

The idea that hospitals are raking in money from COVID is insane and completely out of touch with reality. As the article says, the $13,000 paid by Medicare is the going rate for COVID treatment (and probably still doesn’t cover the hospital’s costs). Then let’s look at all of the income hospitals are losing because

It’s especially good with black raspberry or strawberry ice cream - like PB&J in a bowl without the bread!

This is neat and all, but I’m far too lazy to give it a try myself. I think I’ll continue consuming copious amounts of peanut butter and dairy together the old fashioned way - ice cream! Sometimes I even warm up some peanut butter (Skippy!) to pour over the top of it.

I just can NOT fathom how Uber continues to lose money so reliably, quarter after quarter.

They essentially own no vehicles, pushing all of the capital and maintenance expense off onto their drivers. They take somewhere around half of every fare, sometimes more. They typically don’t have to provide health insurance or

I’ve always thought it would be interesting for IIHS to purchase a 5 or 10 year old version of a car they previously tested (or possibly several of them to have a larger sample size) to see what kind of difference there is after fatigue and rust have worked their magic. My gut says it would not be pretty.

Man, I wish I had known about this a few years ago. My wife and I spent a couple of days around Modena on our honeymoon and visited the Enzo Ferrari museum as well as Maserati HQ but this would have been a fun add-on. Something to add to the list for when we get back there.

Hopefully the building is restored someday.

And for light commercial use they are GREAT. We’ve had them in our delivery fleet since the year they came out in the US and they’re awesome to live with. Very low maintenance, very few stupid design decisions. The CVT actually holds up well, too - our oldest vans regularly saw 160-170k miles without any issue.

The interior shot in the lead photo looks like it’s from a mid-to-late 90's Plymouth concept car but it’s not. But it totally could have been, right? Doesn’t it look like something they would have rolled out?

The plastics were hard and crappy but I do miss interiors that had character.

Bought Snowrunner over the weekend after reading Andrew’s articles.

Interesting, thanks for the info!

Doesn’t the BeamNG engine underpin Wreckfest? That’s definitely on console and I love the hell out of that game. Driving physics are good, and the damage modeling is some of the best I can recall seeing in a video game.

We should probably be sanitizing those fuckers (the shields, not the temps).

This is only really true if you plan to keep the vehicle long-term.

Also gives people a handy place to hang their clothes for when they randomly want to get naked in the frozen food section. Thoughtful!

Interesting little model. I see a lot of common design cues with the Viper, like the three-spoke wheels and the roll hoop.

I LOVE posts like yours that are full of facts and very informative. Thank you!

First, I hope you recover quickly and you’re able to spend time with your family again. That sucks.

The irony is palpable. A large group of people, most of whom believe that we as individuals will all behave responsibly on our own so that society can function without the need for government intervention, are the ones proving that just isn’t true.

The only time I ever do bacon in the oven is if I’m making candied bacon. Otherwise I microwave it, and I’ve had great success with this method.
