There were a lot of reasons for the ground clearance constraints. Landing gear could only be so long because of the way it retracts into the fuselage, plus taller gear would put the rear of the wing above the maximum height allowed for over-wing evacuations without a slide.

My great-grandmother used to dip Bugles into Temp-Tee. That, to this day, remains the only use I have for it.

Yeah, we had no issues. No split containers or anything, packaged well. Did you order something from Magnolia when you had trouble or somewhere else? I’m thinking it may come down to the restaurant/deli/bakery that fulfills the orders rather than Goldbelly themselves... some may be more careful than others.

My wife is obsessed with the banana pudding from Magnolia in NY, and the last time we were in Manhattan we went out of our way to go there only to find out they were already sold out.

After reading Elton’s autobiography, I completely believe this and I don’t see it as a bad thing. He’s very open about how much his support network through AA meant/means to him and how he’s always willing to be the “go to” person for friends that are having a difficult time with thing, whether it’s drugs, alcohol, or

It’s time to bring back VAN MURALS!

What we need are genetically-modified chickens where the breast meat IS dark meat.

First Gear: The Cherokee really is a good vehicle, as long as you don’t have one with the oil-consuming 2.4L. It’s comfortable, practical, easy to see out of, and pretty economical. It’s also probably due for a major redesign, since it came out in 2014 and has only received one refresh a year or two ago. 191,000 units

I suggest using this in some sort of SPAM Benedict. The waffled SPAM will help contain the Hollandaise sauce and the runny egg yolk.

As much as I’d relish the opportunity to do this, and I think my skills would cut the mustard, sadly I’m not a recent college grad so it appears someone else’s buns will be filling that seat.

I love Lagavulin 16, usually with a splash of water, and especially enjoy it in the Norlan tasting glass which I just got for Christmas. It really brings out the aroma and enhances the overall flavor.

It’s easy to see why Hyundai, Kia and Mazda are still investing in sedans - if they’re turning a profit on the sales numbers they’re doing now and can take even a quarter of the combined Fusion/Malibu sales when they disappear, they’re in a very healthy position.

THIS is vaporware. A nice pipe dream, but a pipe dream nonetheless.

Wow, that’s really interesting! I drove for them one summer about four years ago to pick up some extra cash, but I never bothered to sit and do the math as to how much of a fare I was actually making. Some of this stuff may have changed since then, too as they’ve gotten more and more desperate to actually try to turn

I agree, it was actually a pretty nice little car and COULD have carried the torch from the Neon (which the Caliber dropped, kicked, dropped again, then lost). But... most of the engine options were absolutely pathetic and build quality wasn’t what it could have been. I thought the interior was well designed and

This is a good list. The “Fiata” should have been an Alfa Romeo all along, with better styling and a punchier engine (like the 2.0T from the Giulia... giddyup!).

I saw a ZDX yesterday! It looks like a smaller crossover version of the Cybertruck. Very angular and awkward looking.

Even if it was some sort of magic lamp that needed no electricity or batteries, that’s still like a 100 year payoff.

I like to think there’s the possibility that we can all actually go pantsless, but through AI and virtual technology it can appear that we’re all wearing them. All the comfort, none of the awkwardness.

There are very simple aftermarket tunes for the 2.0 that push it to 350hp just on software alone, so I don’t see why Alfa themselves couldn’t offer a version like that with 350-375hp, louder free-flowing exhaust, etc. In my opinion, THAT should be the “sport” model instead of just adding paddle shifters and bolstered
