I agree, it was actually a pretty nice little car and COULD have carried the torch from the Neon (which the Caliber dropped, kicked, dropped again, then lost). But... most of the engine options were absolutely pathetic and build quality wasn’t what it could have been. I thought the interior was well designed and…
This is a good list. The “Fiata” should have been an Alfa Romeo all along, with better styling and a punchier engine (like the 2.0T from the Giulia... giddyup!).
I saw a ZDX yesterday! It looks like a smaller crossover version of the Cybertruck. Very angular and awkward looking.
There are very simple aftermarket tunes for the 2.0 that push it to 350hp just on software alone, so I don’t see why Alfa themselves couldn’t offer a version like that with 350-375hp, louder free-flowing exhaust, etc. In my opinion, THAT should be the “sport” model instead of just adding paddle shifters and bolstered…
That’s really one of their biggest problems. Their target buyer doesn’t want to deal with uncertainty or any kind of hassle - Audi and BMW buyers especially seem to be less patient people in my experience, and they’re not going to “take a chance” on a brand if the manufacturer doesn’t have it written in stone that…
1st Gear: Oh Alfa. FCA made many missteps in its reintroduction of Alfa to the US, but I don’t think it’s time to throw in the towel and I think it’s unrealistic to have expected it to be an overnight success.
This is like a breakfast version of the Bacon Explosion BBQ grease bomb.

Close, but no nudity.
I’m no construction engineer, but aren’t those blocks supposed to be staggered to make the wall stronger?
And the mileage and utility of a minivan is even better than a mid-sized SUV!
White truck, heading towards the National counter... I think I see what’s happening here. Clearly they’re trying to demonstrate the need for stronger walls.
I’ve got 24 bottles of it at my store... maybe I should start selling it on eBay for $30/gallon!
If every household in America had at least two or three lobster trucks at their disposal, think of how much safer the country would be!
$10k worth of lobsters is nothing compared to a single Workman’s Comp claim, especially if it involves a hospital stay and rehab of any kind, both of which are things that can easily result from a motor vehicle accident. Also if their drivers were involved in an accident with another vehicle while chasing the thief,…
Well, that might work once the vehicle has been running for a while and has had a chance to warm up on its own, but it still doesn’t address the “first thing in the morning” issue.
One mannequin has noticed the fire but doesn’t seem too startled, the other is like “fire was so last year”.
Not really a unique situation for this vehicle. There are already 15 year old Cadillacs, Mercedes, etc. on the market that prospective buyers aren’t financially prepared to repair - four corner electronic air suspension is always a big surprise for them. “You mean shocks for my 170k mile Escalade are $700 each?!”…
This is something I’ve always wondered. Especially if you opt for the “cold weather package”, it should have a supplemental heater that runs until the engine gets up to temp. That’s probably the only real reason people warm up their cars in winter before going to work, etc. - not for any supposed benefit for the…
