I have a Stelvio so I’m a little biased, but it’s pretty damn faithful to Alfa’s heritage. It handles better than any car I’ve ever owned, and better than any CUV/SUV should. The steering is quick and light, and it rips through the gears easily too. And mine’s not even the Quadrifoglio!

I like this a lot and I hope it mostly stays the same for production, except I wish manufacturers would stop trying to reinvent the door handle, and would make the screen look/feel more integrated into the dash instead of tacking it on like some awful aftermarket add-on. (See: Volvo or Ram for how to do a big screen

Cool, thanks for the info. I can see the price of the Niro being a deterrent. Having a cheaper ICE vehicle in that size class should help them, then.

So, smaller than a CR-V or RAV4, so presumably about the same size as the Niro? Or about the same size as a Soul? Is there really a hole in their lineup in that segment, or is there enough demand in that segment in general to have to same-sized vehicles that just “feel” different?

I’m with you. I enjoy Almond Milk, Cashew Milk and Oat Milk, but I’ll never be able to stop drinking plain old Beef Milk. It’s the best with cookies, especially with Oreos or the chocolate chip Dunkers from Trader Joe’s.

This is unnecessarily complicated and stupid.

Yeah, that crash doesn’t look survivable at all. And according to the graphic on the screen, it was only at around 45 mph which means it’s entirely possible for a crash like that to happen in the real world without needing to drive like a maniac. Yikes.

This needs more cztars.

For me, toasted marshmallows on top of the mashed sweet potatoes is a Thanksgiving staple (thanks, mom) and it’s made even better when they’re loaded up with the leftover buttered breadcrumbs from the Brussel sprouts that I strategically put next to them on my plate.

Maybe a kid looking at a big Etihad jet going by?

Don’t need shoes if you never leave the living room*.

Oddly enough, a coworker of mine just traded in a 2017 Civic that gave her a ton of headaches, including timing belt failure at 15k.  Anecdotal evidence, sure, but Honda’s woes may not be solely electronics-related.

Well, MY grocery store choices aren’t all that great - Stop & Shop, Shaw’s/Star Market & Trader Joe’s (I like TJ’s quite a bit) but...

I think that’s the case with the vast majority of the brands on the list. Starting up, going from point A to point B and stopping are all things pretty much every brand has nailed down except in rare examples. I’m willing to bet that infotainment glitches, false check engine lights, and other problems with ancillary

Looks kind of like a Stelvio.

My last car was an Acura and I was surprised that it required more than one trip to the dealer for warranty work and it wouldn’t start one other time (dead battery - at 18 months old).

I think this is a very important point - there are so many more things that can fail/glitch in a modern car, even a basic one, and peoples’ definitions of reliable have changed for sure. As for actual reliability, I think there are only really a few duds in the market. It’s really the golden age in so many ways...

I think perpetual leasing is fine for some people - some people choose to spend money on lavish vacations, some people smoke a carton of cigarettes a week, or spend a lot of money going out to dinner instead of cooking at home, etc. Everyone has something that makes them happy (real or imagined happiness) that they

Gorgeous. If there was an Italian special agent named Giacomo Bondini, this is exactly what he would drive. Classy as hell.

That’s called living your best life. They’re old but they’re not dead yet!
