Too bad there isn’t one close to you. They have a good support program, and I think it’s a 4-year warranty. They just introduced a CPO program as well but I don’t know the details.

I like the idea of not getting greasy fingerprints all over everything. Or the flavor dust. I don’t know if I want to “drink” my chips though...

Misano Blue is such a pretty color.  It looks great on the 4C!

Take a look at the Giulia. You’ll love how it handles!

I don’t know if it fits into your budget, but I recommend checking out the Stelvio, too. I guarantee it’ll be more fun to drive than either of those other two, with similar passenger and cargo space (if not a touch more). Reliability issues appear to have been sorted, too, so any ‘19 or ‘20 models on the lot when

Looks decent. I give it 6 or 7 races at most before this Rich Energy thing blows up in their face.

I’ll have to check online to see if I can find it anywhere... thanks for the info!

My thoughts are:

I’ve spoken to a few people with F-Paces that aren’t all that happy with them. They complain of interior rattles, poor build quality, and lots of constant problems, so make sure you actually drive it and like it instead of being lured by its good looks (it does look sharp).

Isn’t the $4b number a little misleading though? In another part of the article they say “Excluding the one-off accounting charge, JLR lost £273m before tax during the last quarter.” so it sounds like the vast majority of the $4b was a one-time event, not losses as part of regular operations.

This is an interesting, fun piece of information!

Where can I score some of this?  How much do you charge per hour for your time machine?

Don’t think of it as $995, think of it as only about $14 more per month on your 84 month loan.

I think that’s where a lot of it gets murky. There are roads in my area that are partly state controlled and partly locally controlled. You can see the difference clear as day in both the condition of the pavement and also the upkeep during snowstorms (with the state portion usually being perfectly clean and the town

They’re probably just being careful to protect the exclusivity of the Optima Premium Package.  If any old schmo could buy one then it kind of loses its cachet, no?

I wouldn’t know that analogy because my local strip club hasn’t been refurbished since the 80's...

Not to mention the Town Car shared a chassis and drivetrain with other cars that were very popular at the time; Crown Vic and Grand Marquis.  Just the fleet sales on the Crown Vic alone would have paid back their investment in the new engine and any chassis upgrades!

That one belongs in a mooseum! It’s udderly ridiculous.

Fun fact:  Lots of limos have a vinyl or cloth roof because regular painted sheet metal would show a lot of wrinkle lines and deformation from when the body flexes, especially later in its life.

I didn’t know that was a thing!  Without the roof to add structure I think the car would have as much body flex as the hired professional working the pole...
