My go-to at Starbucks is the Bacon, Gouda & Egg which comes on a ciabatta bun. Delicious every time.

My wife makes grilled cheese with meunster, which has better flavor than Kraft’s “cheese” and also results in a nice cheese pull. Havarti is another favorite of mine for these, too...

Miller High Life is a good choice for this... if you’re going to make a sandwich out of chicken substitute, might as well use beer substitute to marinate it, too.

Picture may be deceiving.  I’m sure the instrument cluster was designed to be “sporty” looking since it’s a performance-oriented brand, but the dash itself isn’t that high at all in person.

At 5,800 pounds that’s right in line with Suburban/Expedition. I’m sure this thing will be around $80-85k, but compared to the top-trim from GM or Ford, the value proposition is still there since the fuel savings will pay for itself in 3-4 years pretty easily.

Came here to post that! I like it a lot... I actually might even like the Mazda better than the Brera, actually. The sheetmetal looks like it’s tightly stretched over the chassis... very athletic.

False.  It’s tough, but doable. Look at the dash on a Giulia or Stelvio to see how it can be done properly... beautiful and minimalist, and the screen looks like it belongs.

Having ridden the Acela from NYC to Providence in the past, it doesn’t get above 100 MPH until after New London, CT if I remember correctly. Maybe a short burst somewhere between Stamford & New Haven, or New Haven & New London, but nothing sustained. The fastest stretch was definitely between New London & Providence

Again, another smart move by them since the cost of living in Illinois (as long as you’re out of Cook County) has to be quite a bit lower than anywhere in California.  Even wages that are a few percent lower compared to CA add up to a huge savings at the end of the year.

Using a rather conservative figure of 18 MPG average assuming someone has a gas-powered truck (many of which actually see less than that in the real world) and the average 12,000 miles per year, at $3.00/gallon you’re saving about $2,000 per year in fuel cost. So in five years of ownership that’s easily $10k saved

I think this has a LOT of potential and they’re going about things the right way. I like that we haven’t really heard about them until now when they have a nearly-production-ready vehicle to show. I like that they’re going after a highly-profitable sector of the market and that they’ve seemingly thought about who

The WKRP Thanksgiving episode is usually the first thing my parents and I watched after dinner. It’s a classic, it’s really funny, and it’s short enough so you can watch the whole thing before passing out in a turkey-and-wine coma!

Where has that been all my life?!

I wonder if we’re dealing with pricing differences for different markets... Whether I go to McD’s or Wendy’s my total is usually in the $9-10 range, and I don’t even typically get a drink!

Unless you confine yourself to the dollar/dollar-fitty menu or partake in Wendy’s Fo-Fo-Fo, it’s pretty easy to rack up a $10 tab at any fast food joint these days.

Dear GOD that thing is still so pretty... and the concept is what, like four years old now? Five?

There’s a restaurant/bar in downtown Montreal called “Vladimir Poutine”.  I chuckled when I saw it...

Personally, I find using the non-anglicized version in conversation to be pretty annoying and pretentious (unless doing it for effect, like you said).

I take my comedy very seriously.

That makes me so sad. They were THE BEST nuggets.
