It would be great if they did that for textbooks, where it seems like the edits are often just moving content around to render previous editions obsolete in order to drive up sales.

I’m glad they’re addressing the issues of car design that hinder close racing. Hopefully that means we can get rid of artificial measures like DRS.

First we clean the air, then we clean the coal!

The rules changes for next year might help with that as well. The front wing will be wider, but mandates a much simpler in-wash design.  We’ll see, I guess!

I think for ground effect to really work, we’d have to bring back active suspension so it can maintain proper ride height. A change of even a millimeter in height can have a drastic effect, and the resulting instability can cause a crash.

I think the main driver for the move to 18" wheels is that fewer and fewer tire suppliers want to make a race tire for 13" wheels.  It has zero road car relevance, and no other racing series uses wheels that small.

Oh I wasn’t saying I wanted an F-Body, I was trying to say that $1500 can be “why not” money for some cars (like this Renault wagon), but too much for others. In the case of the F-Body, anything more than $1000 is crazy unless the car is in mint condition. Those things can eat your wallet’s contents as fast as a cheap

And yet, since it’s a GM product, that’s still more than it’s worth!

Sky Bar is iconic enough that I’d be surprised if it DIDN’T come back somehow. But that’s a shame... I forgot they were NECCO.

Haha  I expected you’d respond to this!

Or Esteban Ocon, if he doesn’t find an F1 seat.  French team, French driver. And he’s quick!

Don’t they still make Sky Bars?  I swear I just saw them at my local convenience store...

$1500 is still squarely in the “why not” money range for a lot of people, and given how unusual this car is, I think it’s a good deal.  If it were a Plymouth Horizon or 3rd-generation Camaro or any number of other run of the mill shitboxes, I’d probably agree with you. But this is a manual French wagon!

I would seriously consider buying either of those as my next car. The Optima is especially attractive.

I don’t find this to be gorgeous, and I’m generally a fan of Kia’s styling.

Kia Niro. I’m 6' 4" and thought it had a ton of room when my wife looked at one earlier in the year, and I don’t think an extra two inches of height would change that. It was also very comfortable.

I love the way the new S60 looks, but I never knew how much the rear window line and quarter panel looked like a mini Charger. At least, it does from that angle...

Pacifica is really an excellent vehicle. Rented one for about a week back in the spring and we were impressed.

Basketball?

Or WHO might go down...
