Given that there’s a “1" in front of the ladies’ room but a “2" in front of the men’s room, I take this as further proof that women do not poop.

They actually have it as Degree on the side of the car for the US race. And perhaps Canada?

I see a Porsche-bodied monster truck in your future!

As of this moment they’ve logged the most laps on the first day of testing, just shy of 100! (info courtesy of Racefans.net)

You win.

As fun as it is to see them in even a small arena (is the SNHU center the old Verizon center?) you NEED to see them in a big stadium now. They’re usually at Gillette in early/mid June. The air they get is unbelievable; TV doesn’t do it justice.

And you’ve done a buttload of cool stuff too, Stef, but you’re right... this is a whole other level of awesome.

Relatively similar. As the sport grew more popular in the 80's the old standard frame/leaf spring trucks were getting too fast to control so they started experimenting with long travel shocks and other ideas from off road racing. Tube frames came in mainly for safety, and I imagine cost since a steel-bodied truck

This is literally my dream, since I was a kid. I don’t think I’d be able to sleep for weeks if I even SAT in one.

Ultimately that’s what they did do, isn’t it? But it wasn’t wrong of them to at least try to get the domain they wanted. They went about it the wrong way, but they weren’t wrong to want to try.

Ideally it’s good to have a spine attached to a brain. Either one without the other often leads to a bad result.

I hope they’re able to find a title sponsor soon. That vast empty space is sad!

I’m excited for them this season, although I worry about Renault’s reliability after all of the problems Red Bull had last year. But at least the Renault was competitive when it was running, which is more than could be said for Honda.

A now-defunct ignition and emissions sensor company used to print the basic part description on the box. For sensors that could either be a camshaft or crankshaft sensor, it would say “Cramshaft Sensor”.

Bingo! Someone else complained about Tesla using the Supercharger name for their fancy electrical outlets, but I think it fits. Much like air charge on an ICE, their Supercharger is taking the electrical charge and ramping it way up.

Instead of “close-face explosion bag” how about “crash poofers” or “bang pillows”?

Oh I agree with you completely. I think there’s plenty of fault on both sides and there’s no reason Nissan couldn’t have simply paid this guy millions of dollars to go away. It’s not like they don’t have the money! But instead they chose to spend millions of dollars on legal fees, which sucks.

I never said Nissan Motors was without fault in any of this, but even if they did approach him with a worthless offer, he was clearly unwilling to even budge. It’s a foolish, pig-headed position to take on his part.

This looks really nice, but as a parts person I LOATHE it when manufacturers use the same model name for two vehicles that are almost entirely different.

Stand up, but at what expense? Putting money aside, he still lost almost everything in the end - quality of life, the health of his business, etc. After all of that, even after winning in court, he says he doesn’t feel like he won.
