Very interesting response. It’s definitely not easy, and thank you for including figures to put it all in perspective.

I think it’s an issue that transcends the automotive realm though since it really boils down to consumer choice and individual liberty. Those are issues that resonate with people, so our pet agenda

What’s the actual reason for this law though? I’m sure it was under the guise of “safety” and being “environmentally conscious”, but what is it actually accomplishing? It’s not myopic to want to change an ineffective law that leads to wasteful spending and restricted freedom.

Hypothetically, if I want to buy a ten year

We need to catch the attention of one or two people in elected office (or candidates) who are riding the freedom train - it’s an issue that transcends the automotive realm. It really boils down to consumer choice and individual liberty and there are plenty of politicians, gearhead or not, who can get on board with

Regardless of whether or not this car is actually legal, I have to ask... Why hasn’t Jalopnik and its community put together some sort of campaign to try to get rid of this stupid import law?

He’s not wrong... some pilots for regionals like Cape Air only make $20-25k/year!

I used to love flying into that field in MSFS... I kept trying to land bigger and bigger aircraft there. I felt like a boss one time because, after a few failed attempts, I nailed the approach with a 737 to put it down right at the beginning of the runway.

Until today, I thought it was just me. I thought I was the only one who saw these things all over the place. I feel like a giant weight has been lifted from my shoulders!

Delta = Doesn’t Ever Leave The Airport?

Wow, shame on Cadillac for expecting their dealers to behave like a top-tier luxury dealer should. (sarcasm)

If you want to compete with luxury brands like BMW, Audi, Benz, Acura, Jag and others, you have to offer equal or better service and make your Customers feel special. Loaner cars, roadside assistance, pick up

Given the potential volatility of lithium-ion batteries, are there any measures in place to keep the Gigafactory from becoming a Gigafire?

Given the size of the facility, the volume of batteries on site and its open design, I imagine containing a battery fire would be a challenge as would escaping it if necessary. A

If by “new” we can count 2015 models, I vote for the Acura TLX, specifically the 2.4 Tech model.

I never realized until just now how much she looks like Donald Trump.

Aren’t most drones just remotely-controlled by a human being though? I haven’t kept up with that tech over the past couple of years... have they gone to full autonomy?

The Malm is a damn good dresser. Yes, if you open a bunch of (full) drawers at the same time, the center of gravity shifts far forward of the unit and causes it to tip. This is gravity’s fault, not IKEA’s.

In fact, IKEA includes a bracket to discreetly anchor the dresser to a wall to prevent tipping. It’s a shame they

The new show is honestly pretty good. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and it’s had its share of awkward or forced moments, but those have been far outnumbered by segments and changes that I like such as the “Stars in a Rallycross Car” and the inclusion of more hosts like Rory Reid and Eddie Jordan.

Chris Evans,

It blacked out for me at either 3 or 4 PM on Saturday, whenever FS1 switched to the NHRA event. Coverage on GO followed the switch to NHRA, so when I went back to the main menu (multiple times every 10-15 minutes) to find the Le Mans main feed, it wasn’t there. In-car footage was there, but the main feed disappeared

I agree, Fox Sports sucks hard. Since I do not get FS2, I’ve had to watch a lot of it on the FS GO app on my Fire TV stick. Overall it’s worked well, but not without frustration. Sometime this afternoon they started broadcasting an NHRA event and failed to offer the Le Mans main feed for a couple of hours (in-car was

I have Xfinity with the sports package, and do not get FS2. When using my GO app, not all of the FS2 broadcast has been available. So, having FS1 and the GO app doesn’t always get you there... :-/

There are ways to get GO on a big screen, such as an Amazon Fire TV stick (which can run a Fox Sports GO app) or Chromecast (allowing you to broadcast it to your TV from your laptop or phone).

Apart from a couple of hours of blackout this afternoon for no apparent reason, the GO app on Fire TV has been great.

I test drove two of these last fall, one Platinum and one SR. I had high hopes for the car as I thought the styling was great and it had a lot of features that I wanted. The driving experience was such a disappointment, though.
