They try to “hail” you? Do they not know how Uber works?

Could it be that they want to look at the falcon door design, if they’re actually considering incorporating that in the next Navigator?

Not only are the dollars less, but it’s much easier to recover the asset. Repossessing a vehicle is exponentially easier and faster than going through the process of foreclosure, eviction, etc. on a home.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge on this subject. I really enjoy your writing. I hope you contribute more around here... maybe even your own front-page post!

I never agreed with their test methods. Unless they re-did that myth based on viewer feedback, I remember them attaching dimpled pads to the exterior of the car with dimples that I thought were just far too large. Nothing about the test seemed to be the correct approach... but they have a TV show and I don’t, so I

Really? We’re the most SUV-crazed out of any country in the world, and sedan sales here are trending downward in favor of crossovers, small SUVs, etc. Plus, a sedan body on a medium-duty truck chassis just looks goofy.

I’m kind of surprised they’re still trying to make it look like a sedan instead of an Escalade type of body.

Not quite the same as a do-nothing button, but my fiancee picked up a new base-model Altima back in June and it came with three free months of Sirius XM! Except the car isn’t satellite radio equipped... :-/

ALF. The Deltawing is already sort of shaped like his head (minus the ears), so you'd just need a giant vinyl wrap to make it happen. And lots of fur, if you care about realism more than aerodynamics.

I wouldn’t describe Acura’s current lineup as bland by any stretch. Having just picked up a brand new TLX 2.4 Tech last week after shopping a lot of other cars (including the Maxima, Q50 and Mazda 6) I can say without question the TLX is a home run. It’s very fun to drive, comfortable and loaded with features that

Icahn has made some great investments in the Auto Care Industry over the past few years, purchasing both Federal-Mogul (very large, well-known parts manufacturer) as well as Uniselect USA, the US arm of a very large aftermarket parts distributor.

Pep Boys is kind of a different story though. Currently, the business

I’ve owned three of these cars, my third was an ‘87 IROC-Z which I had for over 8 years. Even when they were only ten years old, it was hard to find a nice one that had been even somewhat maintained and didn’t reek of mildew, cigarette smoke, etc.

In between various mechanical maladies, it was fun to drive in short

In a lot of ways it sounds like a very Apple-like approach, leading me to think Faraday Future is a prime target to be purchased by Apple to boost their automotive ambitions.

Don’t people already own BMWs?

FYI, Burgess Meredith... Meredith was his last name.

And he was the Penguin, not the Joker.

I would buy that wagon if it was offered in the states. I really enjoyed the Fusion that my fiancee test-drove, but the lack of rear seat headroom was the deal killer. The extended roof line of the wagon appears to lessen the slope over the rear seat, making me think the headroom problem is eliminated. Plus it’s sexy

Not everyone thinks it’s an only-Ford thing.

I had someone proudly tell me their non-turbocharged Hyundai had “EcoBoost” because there’s a button on the steering wheel that puts it in Eco mode.

I got charged $100 for VIN etching when I leased my Optima from Metro Kia in Raynham, MA. When I brought up the charge to the salesman, and how he had never mentioned it before giving me the paperwork, he said he’d go talk to his manager. He came back and said that all of their cars are VIN etched because it saves

Definitely the right design direction. The current 6 is the best looking sedan on the road, and I’m sure many of the design variations here will make it onto the 6 at the next refresh. The CX-7 should be a hit, too.

They’ve nailed design, they’ve nailed handling, can they PLEASE provide something other than the anemic

It has a big back end. It is the “JLTV from Oshkosh”. I can only think of one suitable name...
