2nd Gear: Change a couple of letters around and you can have the R Kelly edition, the P-Face. Country roads won’t be the only thing flowing!

I would buy that wagon. The rear seat headroom was probably the largest problem I had with the Fusion and what led me to keep shopping elsewhere. The roof line doesn’t slope off as dramatically in the wagon, leading me to think headroom would be much better. Also, it’s a wagon that looks sexy as hell!

This might be the best Traffic Jams post ever.

“Hey everybody, Chuck says he’s hungry!”

“No, I’m not huuungry, I’m HUUUUNNNNGGGGRRYYYYYY.”

Exactly! You can’t pay a shop less than what they’d charge for a cheap oil change and expect quality results. It just doesn’t work and isn’t sustainable.

Great, entertaining article as usual!

I live in Massachusetts and used to perform state inspections for about a year or two. Not only does it not pay, you’re truly in a situation where you can’t win.

You hit the nail on the head.

Superchargers I think they called them, right? I’d be surprised if I didn’t have them all too... I was both a Matchbox and Monster Truck nut when I was a kid (okay, still am...) so combining the two was like a religious experience. They made the giant pulling machines and sleds, too!

I remember when Hot Wheels

Image got Kinja’d the first time, apparently...

Bigfoot, because it’s hard to beat the original. But one of my other all-time favorites is Crushstation, the “Monstah Lobstah” from Maine. The owner Greg is a super nice guy and always puts on a good show, too!

A DODGE Monster Van, no less... If I remember correctly, it was built on a fire truck chassis. One of my favorites when I was a kid... I still have one from Matchbox!

Thanks for the additional info! It may not be that useful at the moment, but that it exists at all still blows my mind. We are living in the future!

I remember seeing something similar to this on a show called Autoline many years ago. It didn't involve carbon fiber, but it did involve metal springs, different plastics, etc. and the application ideas were endless. They took a metal spring, stretched it out and twisted it up until it was definitely not a spring

I disagree. Using the same reasons you stated, we should ban the sale of old Datsun 240Zs, too. Nissan sold that car here, but otherwise all of the other arguments are the same. They don't profit off of the parts, or the car itself, and they didn't immediately get to sell that same person a brand new car. The only

You'd think automakers would benefit from this, not suffer. For instance: Someone imports an R34 Skyline. That someone takes very good care of that car, participates in car shows, etc. The car-show-going public then sees this very nice Nissan on display, and interest in Nissan is increased at zero actual cost to

The next LFA will probably incorporate very advanced self-driving capabilities, allowing owners to let the car perform perfect hot lap after hot lap at their favorite race track without them having to worry about running out of talent.

I wonder if the Optima, Sonata's corporate cousin, will have the same issue with the shift cable?

I think you're misinterpreting his philosophy. I always understood it that he believes Customers aren't always right, but he always made it a point to thank them for flying his airline, and for making their importance part of the culture at Southwest. Reading "Nuts" and learning about their philosophy is the reason I

2nd Gear: You may see the trailer hitch fix as bullshit, but I see it as a fairly smart solution. Rather than re-engineering a popular vehicle that met federal requirements when it was released, Chrysler is essentially adding frame reinforcement that's easily bolted on and solves the problem. How is that BS?
