If most Prius drivers weren't such smug assholes themselves, it would be an actual problem. But for every Prius rolled coal on, there are 100 more doing 5-15 under in the left lane, not using a signal, running stop signs/red lights, cutting people off, or pulling out in front of the last car for a mile.

So a ton of people are freaking out thinking this is GM's fault. When in all reality the people filing the lawsuit are just idiots. Lost resale value? If that's the case everybody buying an S-Class, A8, or 7-Series should sue their respective manufacturers as the values on those tank only a handful of years after they

Can I sue BMW because I'm able to punch myself in the face whilst driving my 3 series? Seriously you'd have to do that on purpose to turn the ignition off. Now I'm off to see if I can kick myself in the balls in my Audi TT. I look forward to suing Audi if I can

I don't get it. It's impressive, from a coordination/ball skills point of view, but what's it got to do with a Buick?

You can totally hear Nelson in that one!

Oh please, the Cruze was best in class when it debuted, and now offers a diesel (although it's in need of replacement at this point), the Sonic is the only subcompact made in America and is getting very favorable reviews, and the Spark EV won Car and Driver's comparison test, beating the Focus EV, Fit EV and Leaf. Not

You're assaulting the business case for a low-volume product on one hand, and then saying Toyota should build more... of one of their lowest-volume products and also a car that doesn't even exist?

I'll take a scan with my phone on the OBD on my dad's truck next time I drive it. But it was cruising around 2000 at 70mph last time I drove it. I'll double check RPOs to make sure it has 4.10s, also.

So you're suggesting GM develop a manual transmission to fit into the Silverado, handle the added weight and stress of a truck chassis....

I'm sorry. But the 3 people who will buy it aren't enough to justify the cost of beefing up their current manual transmissions.

Sound jealous.

I'm really glad we have upstanding citizens like you that have never broken the law, consider the law in all forms to be final and exactly appropriate, and consider all lawbreakers to be vile scumbags regardless of any other factors.

Thank God you're here to tell people how they should spend their own money and spend their own time. I'll rest better tonight knowing you're here.....

Before the Buzz Killingtons of Jalop show up, I want to take a moment to applaud this effort.

Who would of thought that a city run by Democrats and Unions for 50 years wouldn't succeed. After all, just look at New Orleans, Cleveland, Chicago, Atlanta, The State of California.... Liberalism in action!

My father was an aircraft mechanic. They actually do WANT to find mechanical error, because it means they can fix it on their other planes and prevent it from happening. Not only does that prevent loss of life, which, yay, but it also saves them millions of dollars per plane crash avoided.

So just how does the CEO of Asian know for a fact there was no mechanical failure? He's speculating, just from a higher position than most speculators...unless the pilots called him and told him, "We screwed the pooch on the appoach, Chief..."

He (Asiana CEO) may be right, but isn't his statement a bit premature? And by a bit, I mean he has no idea what caused this crash, right?

I miss that show.

It's time for another Good Idea, Bad Idea.
