I think the news headline is missing a “daddy’s” between “their” and “supercars”.

I think it should be a world wide ban on destruction of manual transmission cars regardless the cause. Seriously, they are already on the verge of extinction, we need to be protecting them!

Like this?

Why don’t they install self-destruct devices in these drones? Or better still, send some torpidos disguised as innocent scientific research drones!

Sounds like a case of PTSD of an engineer from working with industrial designers. Guess what, the other way applies just as much! However, on a serious note, it’s very different between designing in an academic and practical environments. As students they are ENCOURAGED to make mistakes, otherwise, you kill their

Study models are often made of sculpted clay and painted like a car. However for final models, they are often made of a mixture of materials, such as CNCed plastic (ABS, acrylic etc) or metal. Basically, whatever it takes to represent the design to the highest accuracy.

The car was imported illegally so it wasn’t allowed on public roads. The owner slapped on a fake plate and drove it anyways, got caught, and got what he deserved. I mean, look at the car, absolutely destroyed by his poor taste!

When I am driving my dad’s mercedes at night, the “coffee cup” warning sign keeps lighting up and beeping, and it gets louder and louder... Leave it to the Germans to be racist lol!

Here in Taiwan, in-land domestic flights were wiped out as soon as high speed rail became available. It wasn’t even the matter of price because a HSR ticket isn’t that cheap either, but it was the convenience of frequent availability, reliability(always on time) and not having to go through the airport. Seat wise,

I have no experience or knowledge of video editing other than cutting and pasting different clips together on a time line. That said, this applies to photography as well. Whenever I edit my photos, the first thing I do is to adjust the levels to create a shade range that helps the image to “pop” more. Then I adjust

Well I don’t consider myself a collector anymore, I am just a hoarder of toy cars. That said, I’d really love to see kids play with them because most kids just focus on tablets and smart phones these days. Here, every weekend you will see parents bring kids to the toy stores and the kids will gather around the card

Last night someone on a Tomica FB group posted a recent make of the 930 turbo diecast and I had to share this as well. This was the first diecast toy car I’ve had when I was in kindergarten(30+years ago). I still remember how I got it. Anyways, after Tomica moved its factories from Japan to China, the quality is never

Therefore it needs stripes on the side to complete the package.

I think it needs this to complete the package.

I know nothing about RC chopper or aviation, but I think the fact that no human pilot can survive such maneuver is probably a big reason why it’s not been done on real choppers. Anyways, I am much more interested to see how the pilot work his controller to create such astonishing moves!

“Tobacco giant Philip Morris says it eventually wants people to quit smoking cigarettes, and is investing resources into high-tech smoking alternatives.”

Technically there’s nothing wrong with this statement, but what they didn’t say in plain words is they are planning for “the next addiction”.

Tobacco and

What if it’s not “just a boulder”?

Well I for one wish the world of car design would have taken a step back. I mean, we have had arguably the most beige, boring and uncharacteristic cars from all the major car brands especially through the mid 2000s. The BMW flame design language which was like the Memphis movement of car design stirred up a whole

ISIS be snatching up all the remaining Note 7 on the market, strap them to themselves and no explosive sniffing dog can detect the threat!
