I once saw a Cayman with a canoe on its roof. The canoe was longer than the car, so cool.

I know this is out of context, but after seeing my friend’s dad’s old Cayman (97 I believe) with it’s very limited cargo space, I cannot imagine it being a practical road trip car. I did a 2 week road trip in my GT86, with a mountain bike, camera gear and other stuffs, and souvenirs along the way(all inside the car),…
As someone who has lived in south Florida, I’d absolutely not want to mess with ponds there. There’s all kinds of things that will kill you, from water snakes to alligators/crocodiles to Burmese pythons. Of course, the thick mud and zero visibility both in the water and being at night is the most scary factors. Once…
I kinda want to make a TDi sign and put it up whenever I want to be left alone.
You sound surprised, which surprises me because if a recall is pending, people who have worked on the design should have been notified to be made aware of the issues and find a solution. So either your involvement was insignificant or they just want to have nothing to do with you anymore.
Of the many many ways to abuse the use of 3D printing tech.... I took my college students to a kindergarten to host a program with the kids. The goal was to guide the kids to make their own storyline and perform it, while helping them with their creative process. During the process the students taught the kids how to…
Hmmmm..... first of all, this is super costly to make. If this is made of acrylic, the material cost itself will make it a collectible right out of the factory, or a brat out of an innocent toddler. Secondly, it will break, and when it does, your kid will get hurt, like really bad. Even if someone thinks that it is…
The biggest challenge about bringing 3D printing to homes, that most people don’t think about, is the creation of the designs that you want to print, which involves skills in constructing 3D CAD models. This machine is really just a fancy glue gun, but you won’t need any technical know-how to create what you have in…
As a GT86 owner, I wonder if there will ever be a bolt-on aftermarket hybrid system much like forced induction kits. I don’t care about horse power. Usable torque is much more relevant to daily driving, and the GT86 can use a lot of help below 4000rpm!
The desire to create a device to allow disabled users to stand upright like anyone else has always existed, but I think the significance of this design is its simplicity and possibly the cost too. I am sure there are many ways in which this design can be further improved and simplified, but it’s a very good start.…
Being a good designer isn’t the most important attribute for someone who fills his role. Communication skills, specifically the ability to convince and push the right decisions through all the stakeholder leadership is far more critical. Car companies never lack of talent. They’ve got the best designers styling wise,…
I honestly think I’ve seen this same post or story a year or two before.... strange.
When the flight enters cruising altitude, they usually dim the cabin lights, which makes these big screen especially glaring for those who wants to sleep. Not everyone has a eye cover.
Also judging by how thin the seat is, will the LCD panel start to transfer heat to the passenger in front after a few hours of use?
IMO…
Watching it work is one of the most painful thing ever. It’s like a blind lost soul desperate for the light to be shown upon him. I gave up after the third time it got itself stuck at the same spot on the same run.
Didn’t gizmodo feature this not too long ago?
The only thing that is better on this refresh is the tail light, which has been done in very similar ways by many aftermarket suppliers. Other than that, this looks way to mangled for my liking. In a way I am glad I got mine before it got worse!
I am not a computer expert but I don’t see this as AI vs human in anyway. To me, this makes a excellent case that collective intelligence beats individual no matter how good that individual is.
This also proves another weakness of human.
If collective intelligence beats individual intelligence, why hasn’t it worked as…
Carol going soft doesn’t quite make sense to me. Actually I thought she was acting up the whole time to give the Negans a false impression and later take them by surprise. I was actually expecting her to use the cross to attack one of the Negans in the eye but it never happened. That would have been badass and be in…
Hmmm.... I can’t really tell this from the C-class wtf?
