First of all, what’s a “category 5 typhoon”? A quick search on wiki shows that there are three categories for typhoon. Typhoon, Very strong typhoon and Violent typhoon. In Taiwan, other than these three typhoon, we care more about its wind speed as well as rain fall.

I lived on the coast for a year where a few typhoons

Being in Michigan, I’d think they’d make a drone that digs through snow! Very cool nonetheless!

I can’t stop thinking what will happen if he trips himself instead of getting onto that platform in time.

Ever since I got my nimble car and as I get more and more used to it, I start to drive more and more aggressively. I have to consciously remind myself to not be such a douche bag on the road. No I don’t tail gate or make agressive passes, I just drive and turn fast but keep my distance from other cars. ( I driver

So the mom is telling her kids time for dinner via technology? And why are the kids staring at the light to receive instructions?

“We had to change two wheels and change the transmission so”
Did they change the transmission on at the wreck too???

Like a Lexus + Mazda? I really hope this doesn’t get carried over to Honda as well.

Only when phones can start taking photos in RAW, then these will be truely meaningful.

If they charge horn blips like text messages, they will probably just resort to good old yelling. So it’s the culture.

Here in Taiwan people have become afraid to hit the horn because of the tendency of triggering road rage behaviors. When I am driving my dad’s Mercedes the car keeps beeping at me with the coffee cup light blinking away. Damn those racist Germans! (I’m Asian)

Those who say this is a “kids” movie, I think you are missing the whole point. This is a “parents’” movie. How so? Well, many parents expect their kids to be perfect, well behaved, considerate, patient, obedient, generous and loving individuals. Sibilings aren’t supposed to be mean to each other. Sons and daughters

20 years from now everything will sound like mosquitoes racing each other, with their electric motors or perhaps some kind of nuclear fission tech.

IMO it’s more than just Christmas. Birthdays especially! I never celebrate my own birthday. I hide my birthday status on FB or any other social media account. I was once told that birthdays are the days when mothers suffered to have you, so it’s not about you, but about the people who sacrificed to bring you here.

I’m worse. I am being selfish, even to myself!

I did that. Great fun, just don’t do it with your own car unless you want to spend countless hours trying to get all the salt off. It will get into the hardest reaching spots in your car.

If you are talking about custom bikes in Taiwan, then you have to look at this:
