Looks like it’s got a mustache.

Totally off topic here, but that “US Government Property” bothers me a bit. Since the government is elected by the people, they are not like private individual or organization who can own something. It will be right to say things like “State owned” or “Country owned”, but “Government owned” sounds really wrong.

LOL what about the haze in summer times? Poor Chinese folks had no choice but to burn coal for AC? Actually that’s correct. So I don’t know if you are for real or trolling. The massive manufacturing industry in China is the main contributor to this mess, but that’s because the world demands more and cheaper products

When I lived there I was told that the railway land was owned by Malaysia or something .... I guess not.

Through my college days and first two jobs, I was moving a lot, so much that I had everything in boxes the whole time. Other than clothes, all of my possession will be in the boxes placed on shelves, because I won’t have to put them back in boxes when I do move again. I didn’t have any furniture other than a folding

Looks like a gadget right out of Doraemon!

I’m wondering if they are leveraging the fact that many old folks can’t see or hear very well, therefore don’t even realize this isn’t real? I want to believe that they’ve done their research and testing before committing to this. It’s never a bad idea if it works and doesn’t hurt anyone.

So this is similar to Google’s Person Finder, except it utilizes FB’s infrastructure?

As a Taiwanese I have zero faith in this actually happening the way it’s intended. Also, Tainan just had one of the worst dengue fever outbreak, spread by mosquitoes. Sure that lagoon water may not be entirely stagnent, but they will empty every potential source of breeding ground for mosquito, for real or for show.

Does youtube have some kind of algorithm to know when to insert advertisements in videos? It seems that they almost always appear when the video is at crucial moments. In this case, just when the explosion starts during the replay(for me, not sure if it’s the same for everyone). The explosion is quite astonishing

Attach a blade on each side and it will be a suicide machine aka big scissors.

You can’t stop anyone, but you can sue them if necessary. Also, in most cases, the purpose of applying for a patent is to prevent others from suing you instead. It’s more like buying an insurance.

May be they just don’t want aftermarket folks to copy this and make a body kit just like it? There are many reasons to apply for patents, some are proactive while most are passive.

Yes it will look like nothing they will put on the market.

Why do people walk? Why do people walk on pedestrian paths? I think you are over simplifying your approach to this issue (as far as I can tell from this article) that people walk because... they do. People walk for different reasons. A commute where the walk is a process that the person wish he doesn’t have to. A

When they first started selling it (2010ish?), my Prelude got hit in the rear and went to the local Honda dealer for a bumper replacement, and hopped over to the show room to take a look at this little car.... and oh man, it’s really little. The back is pretty useless in terms of cargo space as well. In general, it’s

Wait, why does it need an update? Are people still buying it???

I know my own experience may not really mean anything worth referencing, and granted that I may be an odd ball, but it was after I’ve finished my college design education when I realized the meaning of “process meanings much more than the result”.

IMO one child policy is irrelevant nowadays anyway. Rapidly increasing cost of raising children, lifestyle changes of the younger generation and difficulty of home ownership has made having children more challenging than the policy itself. I don’t think this change in the rule book will result in any significant

Yes. Was an industrial designer, now teaching in college, which is why I feel it’s critically important to approach any interaction with kids with “stimulation” as opposed to “provide”. I also taught elementary school kids for a year, and as college instructor, ran programs with kindergarten kids.

With kids, my
