So they photographed a plane sitting in a hanger but made it look like it was out in the open? In this case I wonder why not just render it with CAD files instead of going through all these trouble. Ok I know that’s not the point(IMO being that “OMG I’m THE photographer who got to shoot a F22!!!), but I still don’t

Seems a little too good to be true. How clean does it get? Tough stains? How much effort does it really take to wash a cycle?

Points which I think people will not like this for:

WHHAAATTT!!! GT86 Hill climb race car driven by “Monster” Tajima????? I feel extremely honored to be remotely associated being a 86 owner. Love the .... “my car crashed so autograph for everyone yeah!!!”

Happening? Fappening!

Does that mean we can start to have drift competitions in downtown because lack of engine roar?

Removed, sorry.

Found this gem a few months ago.

We have lots of these in Taiwan country side. They are basically agricultural use vehicles that are technically not legal for road use because they don’t met safety regulations and aren’t registered. They are allowed to exist as farm tools. These vehicles range from small hauler like the one shown here, to large ones

Also a bit coincidental is that at the end of the video, the vocal sounds like “come...come...come...come...” in mandarin.

Huh? Well not every country is like the US of A where the president gets his own 747. Jets are very expensive to maintain, especially when it’s not spending time to turn profits. Most leaders in the world hire jets as “chartered flights” when they visit other countries. In Taiwan, the most commonly used airline by the

I’ve been a fan of maglev trains since middle school, but it’s taken soooo many years just to see major practical application of it in real life(eg. Shanghai airport line). I really want to see it in service on a long distance line, cross continental type.

It used to take at least 5 hours train ride to get to my

Oh come on, it’s only 9am here...

Zero knowledge on marine sports here, but this reminded me of something else. When my mom(and aunt and uncle) were kids, they had to cross this river to get to the other side of town. This section of the river is in the mid stream, meaning it’s still relatively fast flowing and the only way to get across was a bamboo

Go to his FB page, there’s a video of how he created the hammer photo. It’s a combination of real shots and heavy editing.

Really jealous of this guy! I used to have the same kind of imagination when I was a kid, so does pretty much everyone. However now I can’t even tune my brain to do the same even when I want to. I have a few occasions working with pre-school kids recently and constantly amazed by their imaginations when being given

That’s crazy amount of planning! All those layers and masking, and team coordination. Oh, and having to work literally in a giant paint booth completely sealed in protective suits. To think that paints require low humidity and warm temp to cure properly, that cannot be comfortable to work in there.

I think it will be a lot faster if I laser cut the layers and bind them together with an iron. So NOT going to show this video to my students. I’ve been reminding them against using technology for the sake of using technology. Best of a problem can be solved without consuming any natural resource... you know, simply

No shit! Guess what? I lived in Singapore when they banned gums. It made absolutely no dent in my life, but the MRT system got me to my school promptly everyday.

Grew up in Singapore and lived there for 11 years. Back in the 90s, Singapore was a really pleasant, quiet place to live in with relatively low cost of living. A typical meal (Chicken rice or a plate of cai-fan was S$2.00~2.50 when I left in 2002). Just went back there for a short business trip recently. Everything

It seems that nowadays car videos without burnout isn’t considered entertaining. “Sophistication” is what’s missing.
