First of all, you need to knock down that arrogance of yours. Being "accepted" into a school doesn't mean you are accepted into Automotive Design. Every school has very tough competition within. For example, CCS accepts probably about 150~200 students into their Industrial Design department, most of who are aiming

Now I'd LOVE to have a table-top laser cutter!

Styling wise, I think the Murcielago was the tribute to Countach, and a damn good one.

More like the old 1 series.

Kinda disappointed, because it looks exactly like a baby S-class. No I don't want a poor man's S-class. I want a proper C-class! The entire car looks way too soft and lumpy. They added the "crisp lines", that are supposed to toughen the styling, at the wrong places. From the C-pillar to the entire rear, it looks like

I really want to see N.Korea going to the moon. It will be the most epic photoshop mission ever!

Wow wow! Dat Ass!!!!! Actually I think it's too long. Otherwise, that's a sexy proportion!

Best gift for photo nerd? Come join me on my photo trips and carry my gears for me while I shoot away. Thanks!

Design wise, Audi hasn't really changed all that much for the past many years. I am a car nut who is also a designer and I can't really tell the difference between the current and previous models. They've only done minor changes, but no real design language overhaul. Ok fine, at least they still look damn sleek.

Talk about sloooooowwww manufacturing!
On another note, I was told that when people here used to eat snails, they would feed them with sweet potato leaves(a popular vege here, seriously good!) for three days until their poop turn green. It means that the snails have cleaned their digestive system with the leaves and

I honestly think I'll get more space and be more comfortable flying as a cargo. Climate controlled of course.

So the logic is, designers use concept cars to tell the world that they do not suck at design, but the production cars tell us that the decision makers are the ones to be blamed for fugly designs.

Ok I should clarify. I don't know much about German education system. I just get the sense that the education philosophy they have (from looking at this design) encourages a lot of freedom for "education to be defined" between teachers and students. What I mean is, the system itself leaves a lot of room for learning

This is complicated. Ok speaking in context(and without going into the long details), I am referring to the education system that I am bounded by here as a design educator(or any educator for that matter), the government has way too much control over everything from elementary to university level. It is hard for

Having taught in both elementary and university and being a designer, I have to say that this is not really about design. It is the education system that allows such goodness to exist. Here where I teach, this is impossible no matter how great we are as designers.

Glad it doesn't have a melty ass.

Is it me or does it look really beige? I am quite a bit disappointed. I liked where MB was going with their design, but I am becoming a bit doubtful after seeing a new E-estate in person and this C-class. Definitely not a total denial, but I like the current/old C-class design better. This one looks beefier, but in a

Disappointed! The only Mercedes thing on this car is the logo.

I don't think its value will be kept up like true timeless designs. It's a modern car after all, and unless you are talking about hyper cars like Veyron, P1 and 918 Spyder, I doubt any car will have its value held up.

Like most people I think the final edition is pathetic. However I am a little glad that the SLS is being discontinued. First reason being that no matter how much longer it's kept in production, I won't be able to afford one. Second reason being, all good things come to an end, and too many of the same special thing
