Thank you, Phaton. You've stated my own feelings about Ed Grimley and Martin Short. SCTV was comic gold. The Grimley legacy is a character that won't die and somehow empowering Short to think that as long as he makes a character annoying enough that it will be seen as funny - a fallacy on so many levels.

Tyreese tells Carol et al that he killed the Termite - that he "had to". We don't see the death on screen (and it wasn't in the body count total on Talking Dead), but Tyreese did claim/believe that the Termite who threatened Judith was dead.

Tarkoff killing the girls had the result that he desired - he knew that one of the Beauchaumps would complete the ritual to bring over the King since he is the only one powerful enough to do it (this was already implied previously with the comments of how powerful he is).

I love the community and topics on io9 and would like to be a part of keeping what is appealing and inviting about this site intact so that others may enjoy it as much as I (and other readers/posters) do.

Ingrid and Dash seem to make the most sense as a couple, not just because of the actors' chemistry, but because Ingrid in at least one past life has a strong romantic connection to the Gardners. We know that Ingrid has a bit of a dark side, so coupling with Dash as he goes dark wouldn't be out of character for her

Redeemed himself from A-Team. Agreed that he's been hitting it out of the park since appearing in "Alias" where he was also a heavy hitter. The A-Team movie needs to be forgotten and struck from Cooper's otherwise impressive resume (the film was not up to the caliber of the talent).

Karen Gillan as Nebula and Zoe Saldana as Gamora really sell that they are sisters with a past in the brief screen time that they have together. I got a real Thor and Loki vibe from them that hints at deeper backstory for Nebula who we need to see more of in future GotG outings.

I had a strong feeling that Rocket would be my favorite character, but I was unprepared for the emotional depth of his character. Cooper has redeemed himself with his performance as Rocket.

I can't help but notice that Ingrid continues to be the only Beauchamp not hated to death by the Gardiners. Last season, Athena also liked Ingrid because she had nothing to do with the death of her mother. I really hope that, when he finds out that Wendy and Joanna killed his mother, he doesn't take it out on

While I loved Lafayette's "don't ya'll think I just want a bit of happiness too" speech, the best moment came after the mutual exchange of "Fuck You!"s - when Lala lays it out that he is and has been more interested in James as a person - asking about and listening to his life story, while Jessica can't answer even

Amandla WAS perfect as Rue, so much so that I'm still mad that her best scenes (and dialog) from the book were cut from the movie. You know, the bits where Rue sharing the story of what her life is like in her district is the trigger for Katniss becoming more political. In the casting of Rue you had a talented, young

It was great to see Ginger as a smart young woman, before too many glamour-induced mindwipes effected her mind. It was also a great insight to how she came to work for Eric and Pam and accounts for their loyalty toward her for so many years.

If there were to be a version of Salem that hewed more toward Lauren's vision stated above it would be so good, and have much higher stakes for all the characters involved.

Was anyone else confused about where Ingrid was working? The window in the background of her "new job" looked like the same window in the library's 2nd floor.

Con: Sookie's increasingly annoying complaining that the vamps she's trying to lure are taking too long - 'cause they don't realize how wonderful, special, and irresistible she is.

The biggest WTF moment for me was Sookie's flashback/slo-mo daydream while reading the dead girl's diary. Several minutes of screen time wasted to show Sookie change into a "sexy" bra for her non-date first date with Bill. I was hoping that at least the Fangtasia connection would be made, but nope, Sookie again was

For a book that will stay with you long after you've read it, Carrion Comfort by Dan Simmons can't be beat. The book crept into my dreams during the time I was reading it - which is unsettling for a few reasons. The characters resonate along with the empty ache you have once the book has ended.

I had great hopes for the character of Tom Neville because Giancarlo Esposito was cast in the role. I thought that if they were going to the trouble of casting an actor of his caliber that they'd invest in a strong, complex arc for the character. Sadly, the talents of Giancarlo and Billy Burke (and others) were sadly

I don't think that we should judge Tyrion too harshly for not following Jamie's plan. Jamie only has time to tell Tyrion that a plan is in place that will result in their father 'letting' him "take the Black" rather than certain death - a deal similar to the one offered Ned Stark, and one that Tyrion has no reason to

May was shooting ICER rounds at Fitz - not trying to kill him.
