There will never be a game that gives me a harder choice than pulling the trigger on the boss. I have played MGS3 many times, and in more than one occasion i have chosen to turn the game off instead of shooting her. Letting my mind wander into what would have happened if i had let her live.

I agree with you though, Splatoon really made me happy as it's a new game with fresh gameplay, tailored for the WiiU. I remember when i saw Chibi Robot on GC I was blown away that Nintendo were doing new things!

Sales, risks and the success of creativity in this industry are mutually exclusive. There's a shitload of creatively mature, interesting games on PC or other platforms that you know NOTHING about because they sold like shit.

I'm still bugging out over the fact that you have to pay for Mario 3 twice over if you want it on 3DS and Wii U. WTF?!? I already paid for it on the Wii. Very strange, as I'm used to the Playstation world where, if you buy a game on the PS3, it works on the Vita, and vice-versa.

I think it's more that you have no idea what you're trying to get at. I assure you, the likes of Team Fortress, Arma/DayZ, and Left 4 Dead (PC games which I also enjoy and have played L4D religiously to a fault back in it's hey-day) don't hold up to the financial or fanbase clout that CoD/BF has.
