Benchmark vehicles are bought off the dealer lot (so that’s a production 911). Sometimes they’re sold, sometimes they’re crushed. Depends a lot on what’s been done to the vehicle in testing, basically whether or not they’re still safe to sell off.

The old 5MTs had the same linkage setup. Dunno when they switched away, though.
For performance applications, it’s cost and control. An LSD can cause issues in YSC in some situations, since the rear wheels can’t be assumed to be open (and in fact are likely somewhere between open and locked). It’s a challenge for a pure mechanical LSD or locker to be controlled by those systems. If it’s an…
I see so many complaints about MT, but I’ve never seen anything out of the ordinary compared to any other conglomerate video production group. I see a ton of ads for Rooster Teeth’s videos, for example.
I work at the supplier that makes and calibrates the braking system on these, they’re honestly a pretty good package (though as many of the reviews have pointed out GM has focused on capability over comfort compared to competitors.).
Every time I see that image, I get hung up on the title for only a second or two before I can’t look away from her freakishly elongated right arm.
Eh, there’s a few M90 ‘charged Subarus. IIRC, the M90 has the same frame and rotor spacing as the M62, it’s just like 20mm longer or whatever. The issue is there’s no “short snout” M90, so they don’t fit well. In theory (I never got around to trying it) the M62 snout could be bolted to a non-bypass M90 body and it…
Lol, didn’t even make the top 30. Some fast-ass people there!
As one of “those impreza owners” who DID smash a supercharger onto my car, it looks like the supercharge is at least moving air. Building boost seems unlikely, there’s so little belt wrap on that pulley.
What about my sister, who works in foreign aid? Trump was already trying to defund her organization, this is just a shit cherry on top of an apparently very hostile work environment that’s looking for excuses to remove people.
Damn, was that the same F1RACER guy that set the 27.0 for the week’s fastest time?
No, but it has the cast boss AND the rad core support has the indents & holes in it. So it’ll definitely end up there eventually.
I have the same feeling about the new Ford GT. That little black section at the front needs to be body colored, it would look so much better.
I work in the industry as well, but for a supplier of braking, steering, etc. parts.
So this is literally my job- I do ABS calibration on new cars, including HD trucks.
I only drive about 300 miles a month in my personal car. I switch work vehicles constantly due my job, I almost never remember.
While MOST cars have such an arrow, MANY do not. In my experience it seems to be an American thing. For example, my ‘93 Audi has no indication. Nor does my ‘93 Jaguar. Neither did my ‘00 Subaru. My 1950 Hudson is also lacking it, but I’m not sure that’s a fair argument.
I drive them too, a lot of times the camo-paint versions are already released, or a mule that doesn’t have all the final changes. The final bodies only show up in the uncovered camo a little before they’re announced.
Forget the Cena vs Ford here. What’s important, and VERY interesting, is this case could set a precedent for the “ownership vs lease” argument that’s come up recently. Does buying the car mean it’s yours, or have you merely bought the RIGHTS to the car, like technically with software? It could even translate into…
I’ve seen mirrors pop up on Quattroworld every now and then.
