Not a chance. Contracts are the standard 2-year contracts, not a shortened 1-year so when they announce the next LTE version, you'll have to a) wait or b) pay full price.

Honestly, a Verizon iPhone doesn't mean crap. Woo hoo. So freaking exciting. Guess what? There are a crap load of areas that LTE won't be and a crippled iPhone just doesn't make sense.
While I'm not against this at all, this column created a HUGE amount of trouble today at the office. Female VP of HR saw Gizmodo on an employees' pc with this article first. Thanks a lot Giz... couldn't this be kept on Fleshbot or something???
