In the US, this would still be illegal (by definition of the studios). My ISP received an MPAA cease letter threatening a lawsuit over an NCIS torrent upload from my IP address. The ISP then threatened cut off. Being that I live in rural america, my choices for broadband are slim. I had little choice but to comply.
