I know it looks and is animated fantastically and Ufotable do make quality shows but i never said there aren’t quality Japanese anime shows out there, but that there is very few of them compared to the number of studios and companies involved.

I think they might make more Blame movies if this one is successful and get favorable reception and reviews.
Full CGI for TV anime production is slowly imporving and i think it will co-exist with 2D anime just fine, it’s mixing the two together that i have a problem with and usually feels jarring.
That’s interesting, our definition of anime might differ but if this is entierly an American production i say it’s pretty damn impressive and looks on par with the best anime out there.
but mostly because it looked like some guys went “hey we should make a side-scrolling Dark Souls” then actually went and did it.
First thing i noticed is that the production values are off the roof for a TV anime, that’s almost anime movie quality, i suppose Netflix spent a lot of money on this, and i also think this isn’t the only anime that will show up there.
From what i see i think this type of deal will produce some amazing stuff since…
You can’t claim to copy me when what you said is the exact opposite of what i’m advocating for, disagreeing with someone =/= asking them to shutup, asking someone to ignore something they don’t like =/= asking someone to destroy or delete something because someone somewhere finds it offensive, so little bit of common…
Sorry but cultural apporpriation is a very silly concept and frankly just hogwash, sure a brand of racism exists that involves insulting people by imitating them in an intentionally degrading way, but in those cases the intention is pretty clear and they make sure that’s very well known, which obviously is not what we…
I didn’t demand anything let alone asking them to shut up, i simply disagreed and made a point about how wanting to delete/remove/change something because someone somewhere finds it offensive is a bad idea specially today since some people are out to be offended by everything and anything.
You have it the other way around, if you “don’t” like something and want to take everything personally for some reason just don’t look at it/use it/spend money on it instead of being a selfish self-centered baby and demanding people be deprived from it.
“or you could like, not do anything at all, tough choice I know”
Throughout the entire reveal i just kept saying, ok nice and all but do you have “space combat”, over and over but i got no answer (meaning i saw no trace of space combat).
I watched an entire playthrough of the game on youtube, covered all the basics and gave me a good idea of what to expect, i did the same for the expansions.
Most rogue-likes released in the past few years have some sort of unlocks the persist across all playthroughs, to name few:-
Pretty much every rogue-like game i played in the past 3-4 years has persistent unlocks, it’s pretty much part of the genre now and for a good reason, the unlocks helped bring a lot of new blood into the rogue-like community, it got new gamers into the genre because the unlocks alleviated some of the severity of…
The definition evolved over time, and the persisting unlocks helped bring new audience into the genre of rogue-like games because they alleviate the burnt of perm-death.
More nonsense and politically motivated crap, too bad you missed the point i made several times because you are totally blinded by your fanatcism, it’s not about loyalty, it’s not about hurt feelings (yours seem to be quite throbbing as expected from an SJW), It’s about consistency, expectations and suspension of…
Perm-death, procedually generated levels (and maybe enemies) and bonuses/unlocks that presist across several characters/lives.
Sigh, first of all i’m not white so don’t go around assuming stuff out of thin air, i’m Middle Eastern/North African or what people simply call brown, second is that double standards are never a good thing and will always backfire no matter what and regardless of context.
Again missing the entire point of why people were pissed about the casting of Idris Alba as Heimdall, i’m a big fan of him and would love to see him get more roles but this one just didn’t make sense, Norse mythology is exculsively white the same way African mythology is exclusively black, you won’t find any white…
