That’s not what happens when we stop pre-ordering, that’s what happens when the devs decide to believe the utterly ridiculous misconception that a game requires a certain number of pre-orders before it becomes worthy of release, what they are doing here is basically shooting themselves in the foot and double tapping

Night and Day cycle isn’t just cosmetic, if your city is purely solar powered by nightfall you are in for a very big bad surprise.

My argument is invalid because i’m defending Capcom which is a AAA company!!? what kind of logic is that? .. and i’m not exactly defending them, just stating the facts, a game having a beta doesn’t mean in any way shape or form that it will be released flawless, specially if it was a closed beta, take what you will

I’m just stating the facts, you want to call that “defending them” fine, suit yourself, but you do need to learn the difference between closed beta and open beta, the first might be good to test basic functions and iron out serious bugs but it will NEVER stress test the servers like what happens at lunch.

Their only

Betas don’t magically fix all the problems in a game, specially close-betas with a limited number of players like the one SF5 had, maybe you should learn the difference between an open beta and a closed beta and why stress testing is important specially for a very popular game like SF which will have millions of fans

Sigh, nobody put a gun to your head and made you pre-order or buy the game at lunch, i didn’t buy it and will not buy it until next month, so take you boggled mind and go elsewhere please, that’s the norm now ... you don’t like this vote with your wallet and stop buying games altogether, i’m just being realistic.

From what i heard about the Beta they were much more severe even with the limited number of players, and if you read some of the other comments above you will see that they actually did fix the problems in the Beta.

Which could only mean that problems showing up again can only be due to the high pressure on the servers

Except without an open Beta to stress test the servers it would have been really hard to detect all these problems and fix them all, that’s why i think open Betas are far more useful to both the users and the devs.

Don’t forget the servers were not under real pressure in the Beta, with Cross-play between PC and PS4 and large number of SF fans buying the game and going online at once it is sure to put a huge load on the servers, i think they should have made an open Beta before the game release to stress test the servers.

Yeah it is a bad mentality, but it’s the norm now, specially since consoles got online connectivity, i even have to admit that it really got ridiculous with PS4 as games keep getting gigabytes sized patch after patch that i pretty much ran out of disk space in a very short time, i know all that and i experience it

Just because they had a Beta doesn’t mean the game will come out perfect, despite the current problems it’s still much better than when it was at Beta (specially that it was a semi-closed Beta only for pre-ordering players), give it a week after release and it will be fine.

“So according to these movies, the only reason why people aren’t murdering each other every minute of every day is simply fear of legal repercussions?”

lols, some of those are so hilarious, these feel like they are written by a 12 years old teen still suffering from the effect of his overflowing hermones XD

It’s that bad!? It looked decent to me, not as polished or well tuned as Overwatch or For Honor but if i’d rank those team-based squad games based on what i saw i’d rank them as follows:-

Except that art style should and does convey a lot about the game it blongs to, you seem to be “mixing plot elements” (which obviously can’t be conveyed through art style) with “tone”.

That’s strange considering how much the devs are trying to appease Microsoft by making the game exclusive to Win 10 (Halo 2 all over again) and Xbox One, that doesn’t seem to be working in their favor though.

Hmmm, i’m not very familiar with the character but the old covers in the article gave me the impression he did have interest in romance (or at least wasn’t asexual).

If looks could kill she would be an assassi ... Oh, wait a sec!

Yeah, the game is supposed to release on XboxOne and Win 10, it sounds like a very exclusive deal, so these constant layoffs really make no sense at all ... unless Microsoft executives are really really unsatisfied with the game to the point of trying to ruin it without outright terminating the contract/deal,

I don’t understand, it is the second time this has happened, don’t those guys have the support of Microsoft (in return for an exclusive Win 10 release), why do they keep getting hit by bad luck and layoffs one time after the other, it’s as if there is a mysterious force working aganist the release of the game.
