His vision for the game is compromised either way, the game is incomplete whether he had to cut stuff to fit the budget or the funds stopped before he finished, it’s clearly Konami’s fault, a guy who delivered so many complete excellent games like Kojima, one whose name alone sells games should be given an almost open

It’s clear from Konami’s wet Pachinko dreams they gave up on making games a while ago and just wanted to spend the least amount of money and get biggest profits from MGS5 and the MGS name before driving the whole gaming department of their company into the ground burning once and for all, most Kojima’s vision for MGS5

Oh please, this isn’t “Always Evil Corp”, nobody is demonizing Konami out of thin air, there actions are every bit damnining and have ZERO excuses, I don’t give a fuck about their pachinko wet dreams or how they are destroying their game department and driving the whole thing straight into the ground out of greed, but

Gone are the days when we could have fun silly (or even risqué) stuff in games, now everyone gets offended over everything and anything and the Internet social media big bang made it so easy to abuse the power of expression.

Hahaha, staying true to the party pooper moniker, in fact who in their right mind would want to party with a party pooper anyway, and clearly others agree on this XD

They have to be extremely and extra careful when they do the whole Episodic thing, consistency will be super important and where they cut the game will make a big difference.

Yeah, I’m thinking the same thing, I don’t care it’s Episodic as long as the final compilation of the game episodes will feel like a whole game not a disjointed mess.

The main problem I see with it aside from having to follow the whole thing rigorously to understand what’s going on, most of the time it has little to do with gaming, sometimes I’m not even sure why it’s here.

Well said sir, well said.

You must be quite the party pooper, good for you.

I never said either of them are wholly original, I’m talking about good visual design VS bad visual design, it’s not merely an opinion, there are criteria and rules for how good visual designs work and reasons to why they fail, in Paragon.. Epic’s graphics fedility focused approach resulted in muddied color pallettes

There is plenty of artwork for Paragon characters avaliable now after their reveals, it doesn’t have to be design sheets, plenty of that art is hi-res close ups for Paragon characters to show off the textures and shaders used on them, a video for each one you can watch and pause in full HD... so please stop making

Mercy’s design has little to do with Rei’s plug suit aside from being white and body fitting in some parts, the similarities with Celestine (Halo and Wings) naturally come from the fact both are the angelic saint/Warrior female archetype, Celestine isn’t the first character to in the archetype nor is Mercy the last.

Thanks for the info, sounds interesting.

We have seen the characters from Paragon a lot too there are lengthy reveal trailers for each of them and the debut trailer also showed us a lot of them, and they can have all the fancy shaders and hi-res textures but they are still as bland and generic as sci-fi designs get.

Rouge Galaxy... Here I come... Been waiting too long for this.

Both companies are using the same archtypes, Big dude with shield, Agile robot ninja with throwing stars and rapid sword attacks, .. etc etc ... but the thing is Blizzard’s take on the characters is far more interesting, colorful, well thought and has a lot of personality and charm, the characters in Paragon seem

True, both companies are using the same archtypes, Big dude with shield, Agile robot ninja with throwing stars and rapid sword attacks, .. etc etc ... but the thing is Blizzard’s take on the characters is far more interesting, colorful, well thought and has a lot of personality and charm, the characters in Paragon

That’s not an RPG at all, if anything this feels more like a “Choose your own adventure” book/game feature, it’s more like Telltale games, what Naughty Dog is doing is basically taking the branching dialog from Telltale games and injecting it into the cutscenes with dialog in Uncharted 4 to make them more interactive

“It’s best viewed as a large, sprawling playset where you can screw around, pull off wild stunts, and see if you can capture footage of something cool enough to share with your friends on YouTube.
