Not really, all online gaming services/platforms suffered similar attacks to the ones Sony suffered, XBN and even Stream suffered attacks similar to the ones on PSN, XBN specifically didn’t fare that much better when hit with vicious DDoS attacks ... so don’t act like it’s only Sony who had these problems.

I’m really ok with the performance of the network itself and the online play functionality works just fine since PS3 era (and i had a slow DSL connection back then), they might be lacking a bit in terms of “features” or “extras” but that’s not determinal to my enjoyment of the online games in any way, i’m ok paying…
