So Hisako's if fighting games answer to the Ring's onryō (vengeful spirit), i like her design and animation a lot specially the short teleportation cause it has the ghostly quality about it .. just like how ghosts move in some horror movies ... very interesting character .. that said .. there nothing preventing us

I really hope that's not the reason, they shouldn't compromise the game's quality and content because of time, we don't want another Duke Nukem Forever, they need to take their time adding in all the features and content they originally intended regardless of how much time it takes and as long as there are no real

And the devs never commented anywhere on this issue and the reasons behind the removal, can't anyone at Kotaku reach them and ask them about that? Because a lot of FF fans won't like this.

So is switching character removed just from the demo or the entire game, because i was pretty sure the older videos showed we could switch characters and each one of them would have a different play style !!!? it would feel very weird if we not only have 4 main characters but we only get to control one of them the

Lack of variety of body types specially for female characters isn't a matter of stereotypes as much as it is just visually boring and lacks diversity, and their solution solves that just fine.

As for her being a stereotypical character herself, well .. stereotypes don't come out of thin air, think why we immediately

like feminist critic Anita Sarkeesian, lamented that the female characters in the team-based shooter were all svelte.Today, Blizzard revealed two new characters, and one of them is a direct response to those types of criticisms.

None of the other female character are walking around in anything resembling swimsuits, one of them even has a full body armor suit with a jet-pack.

lols, you are the one who sounds like an entitled crybaby who thinks dispensing opinions like a slot-machine is a goal in an of itself, and if you think expressing a pointless ineffectual opinion to people who don't want to hear it, people who won't even benefit from hearing it nor will it create any meaningful

You could say i'm just curious what sort of arcane reaction or result did you expect from stating your negative opinion about the winners here, specially with this type of award that the devs give among themselves (meaning it's neither based on fans selecting whatever is most popular nor gaming sites handing prizes to

DLC and last-gen versions have nothing to do with the actual quality of the game itself nor would it affect anyone playing the game on current gen in any way .. these are mismanagements of the IP and obviously this prize isn't for the studio itself (in that case they might not deserve the "best" position as a studio

Apparently you don't know what you are talking about.

Troll much, are you seriously trying to convince us that the ones who coded a complex innovative A.I system like the Nemesis system needed to "steal" code for walking and running animations ... what a load of crap ... show undeniable proof or STFU.

Luckily the ones handing the prizes don't give a fuck what you think, these are awards voted by the dev community to celebrate their own best ... none of them asked for your opinion nor does it matter at all.

Perfect example of Skinner Box gameplay, and the reason why I won't ever get Destiny, my life only has room for one loot centric game (which are huge time sinks) and that's Diablo 3, that's why I wished Destiny wasn't the loot centric game it is, I hoped for something epic and innovative but alas, maybe next time

Seems to me like a scheme to buy any possible competition, using them and then shutting them down, kinda like a succubus XD

My bad, I had the impression we are in disagreement, but you do have a point... There are plenty of well dressed female characters in videogames and fighting games even —-> Rose from SF4, Athena from KoF, Xianghua from Soul Caliber, Baby Bonnie Hood from Dark Stalkers, May from Guilty Gear...etc etc.

What's funny about it !!? it's a matter of taste ... i did say clearly that we do need both sexy female characters and modest ones with all the shades in between .... King is cool and all but she isn't what i would consider really sexy, too tomboyish for me ... different strokes for different folks i guess.

The artist is presenting the alternate costumes as suggestions for ways to have the same character without resorting to ass and titties.

To me her art-style isn't bad, she surely got talent, my problem is with the redesigns themselves, simply put they are awful and done with a very limited scope (let's give all those women preadolescent girl bodies and slap some random clothes on then).

Nice, it looks like a kid-friendly version of her sexier original design, cool pose too.
