@Fortran42: I guess this is just an opinion of someone who has played none of the games on the list except Mass Effect 2.

No Mario Galaxy 2, no Donkey Kong Country, just no love for Wii and Nintendo. Also, the lack of Minecraft on the Game of the Year for Minetaku is sort of unsssssssssssettling.

Man, what a fantastic single-player mode. Red Dead Redemption is probably my favorite game on the offline realm of the decade. Brilliant plot, lovable and believable characters, open-world immersion, it was all amazing. Why didn't I get that feeling with GTA IV?

@weezermc78: I agree, Red Dead Redemption is absolutely brilliant, but outside of the single-player the multi isn't very enticing.

I feel like I should give this one a chance. Like Assassin's Creed 1, Prototype got kinda repetitive fast, but Assassin's Creed 2 was pretty awesome so maybe the second time's the charm?

I have Black Ops on my desk. It's just... sitting there. I'm far too engrossed in Red Dead Redemption and Bad Company 2. Should I open it, or leave it for a few months like I did with RDR?
