Like, what about the capital “W”, capital “D” War on Drugs that this country has been fighting against an enemy combatant black society? What about the compassion for the strung out mothers and fathers and the damaged children…

Good point. I haven’t pursued one because I’ve been so busy in the past month since that flight. It might be too late to get one by contacting corporate. They certainly haven’t volunteered a voucher.

This sweet little boy deserves so, so much more than all the adults around him are giving him. His father should be ashamed, and the people willing to let this boy die or continue to suffer because his father is a dirtbag should also feel ashamed.

American Airlines is trash. The last time I traveled with them I got to the airport to learn that my flight had been delayed 5 hours with no explanation. Five hours turned into 6 hours, and no explanation was ever offered the customers. Just a big ole ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don’t even think we need to add a “too” to black lives matter. It’s a declarative statement, it stands alone. Fire is hot, water is wet, black lives matter. The very fact that we (black folks) are saying that our lives matter, after centuries of this country the world telling us the opposite, is what really upsets…

This is awesome. He continues to amaze me in the best ways possible. I hope his program expands to STEM field development as well so that underprivileged kids can get a fair shake in those areas. Until then, as a Chicagoan who uses Lyft, I will be enrolling in this program!
