I’m not sure what about Epic’s Game Store isn’t itself a “hunk of junk”.

As another poster said,
People want their exploits, whenever the game is exploiting them.
It’s just that all of those places are entirely unpopulated, aside from one coyote that calls himself “Shteve”.
That’s not how “Bloodlines” work though? You can’t have an adpoted child be your “blood”, even if they’re your family, or as important as any other child. That’s not how “bloodlines” work.
Is it really unreasonable to assume in a franchise where one of the central conceits of the plot is a concept of “genetic memory”? Desmond is still related to these people, he’s just been uploaded to the “Abstergo Cloud”. The game itself goes over this in an obscure tidbit, but the character of Kassandra/Alexios HAS to…
But you had to know, going into an Assassins Creed game, that the main conceit of the last 7 or 8 games has been the fact every character from the past has a genetic lineage leading to the relative present in order to make these games and stories even possible in their own universe.
If you were upset, that a character from ancient greece ended up having a child in order to further a story about GENETIC HERITAGE you are too far gone.
well you said what you said, presumably to bring up the spectre of their past thoughts about other peoples actions(Not even the things they themselves did) as presumably, a starting point for a conversation about how they’re bad people.
It seems pretty fair. It’s a super bare bones Destiny type game with amazing movement and pretty great gunplay, that is ultimately completely let down by it’s uninspired quest design, it’s clunky and barely working engine, and buried under bad UI design.

All of those things are regulated to protect consumers and the public. Why should this element of society not qualify for that when it’s a form of gambling?
Wait, so them using tax havens to hide the majority of their income in general is not good enough for you?
FTC... What country is that from? OH... The United States? How fucking weird that the US is looking into the legality of loot boxes.
no not at all you corporate apologist.
The large, and vocal defense force defending the game will directly impact the future quality of games.
That fits every definition of gambling that I can think of.
Gumball machines are not gambling machines. They do not contain any fan fare, or any of the typical aspects of “Skinner boxes”. They return a random result.
So governments shouldn’t regulate say, food, gambling, drugs, water, or other things?
Yeah, cause how dare I have opinions about things.
