ha!

so where'd they find the brazilian engineers?
It sucks because you're on a moving plane and there's 200 onboard potentially using the same system at the same time. They can add more, but that'll probably weigh down the plane.
The brazil argument is against the chinese resources. Surely they need workers in Brazil, surely they need to route their supply chain there.
So it has nothing to do with "finding engineers overnight"
Walt Disney decided to build in the middle of nowhere.
so... they can find SKILLED labor in Brazil... but not in the US, with you know, labor laws and unions.
im not mad at the business making money.
Please see the 2008 Mets and the 2011 Red Sox.
“What U.S. plant can find 3,000 people overnight and convince them to live in dorms?”
So, factories must be built in only a few weeks and only in one place.
shipping and tariffs? if it's made here, there are no tariffs. they built facilities in brazil, you're saying that can't build one in Florida? There's plenty of empty manufacturing facilities here in Rhode Island and plenty of unemployed people who would much rather collect a steady paycheck instead of going b2b…
and this has to do with apple's secrecy... how?
that seems to be an article with PR on why it can't be made here. there wasn't a foxconn factory to handle products until they build one. Heck, if you can't find the Americans willing to do the work (even if you don't give them a chance), build a plant in Mexico. At least the Mexicans spend part of their money across…
so is Brazil on par with china?
wow, that was insightful.
here's a novel idea. fire china.
i read it as "This Folding Chair Collapses into AT&T" and I shuddered.
Nope!
