“Battery,” by Metallica. It’s the little opening acoustic interlude that really makes it. I love it when any thrash band starts off with some dainty, acoustic, Renaissance Faire tinkling. And you just KNOW they’re gonna come in with the big guitars and ruin your shit, and then they DO. It’s a bulletproof formula.
