I’d be interested to see data on that, if there is any, since this is a pretty anecdotal thing to say so definitively. I am an essential worker and have been working from the office the entire pandemic and we’re not a small company (7500ish employees, 400+ in my building alone). I have literally no reason to be here —

I have a AWD v6 trim 2010 venza so I can say it definitely didn’t cost $45k. Mine was about $35k.

The only thing wrong with the Venza was it was about 10 years too early and never got the refresh it needed when SUVs really started to take off.

It is a manual.

I have a small 1996 Tacoma 2Wd and have routinely taken it up to the Sierras in heavy snow. The trick is loading up 250 pounds of sand bags over the rear wheels and snow chains if it gets bad enough. I’ve literally passed Land Rovers slide off the side of the road in the same circumstances.

Having driven mostly 2WD pickups in the northern climes - you get by. Toss a couple bags of sand in the bed, with a decent set of tires and you’re fine.

That’s a lot of drivers at fault for motorcycle accidents.

The bike itself might be safe but if cars tend to run you over then riding a motorcycle is not safe.

“Sir, Harley profits are down again!”

Yeah, aren’t we all constantly bitching about the lack of small pickups on here?

Hehehe. Back when I was riding a lot I combined that second picture with my Triumph. Dunno if it holds up today, but it seems to me Priss is the kind who would ride a Triumph.

You don’t want to go pissing off Gamera by making crazy statements like that. How can The Guardian of the Universe be lesser than a single Guardian of the Galaxy?

The funny part about conservatives trying to be funny is that they keep trying.

What the hell are you even on about? Like are you new to this site? Go ahead and daily a cool car, make sure it's got a manual transmission and really nice paint, put the stickiest tires possible on it and lower it to the ground. Then in 5 years, when your car is ragged out, you'll be like the rest of us and see the

Not much driving excitement to be had in Metro Denver traffic

Hey, but if you want an inexpensive, efficient, dead reliable jack-of-all-trades car, it’s hard to do better right now. Most people truly do not care about driving excitement—they just want something that will get the job done and not give them a hard time or burn a hole in their bank accounts. RAV4s and CRVs fit that

Mad Mike is gone but the Earth is still a-round...

I’ll see myself out

I’d slap one on my trail bike TODAY if I could afford it.

Exactly this.
