Business. anticompetitive. Microsoft can't turn down legitimate business. Sony and Nintendo will most likely stick with AWS.

Servers capable of handling this type of deal can be mounted on half rack now days.

Because Microsoft infrastructure wasn’t built only for gaming. both Sony and Nintendo don’t see any reason to own this when there are cloud services available to them including Microsoft cloud infrastructure.

Still better than Sony. Microsoft outage doesn’t take down everything or if it’s down, it recovers faster than Sony.

Irony is that Sony can do this with AWS. Sony just doesn't see the reason to do it as being the number one console seller.
