Unfortunately having a clear direction for your career doesn't prevent you being a number and being shown the door at short notice.

I get disgusted with our local 24 Hour Fitness as the management, even after many complaints, don't enforce rules for the steam room/sauna where gym goers come inside in their sweaty workout gear and still wearing their shoes.
