Awful that it took so long, but from this article in the Miami New Times, it sounds like she didn’t call an Uber, he happens to be an Uber driver who was waiting outside the club to offer drunk girls a ride home. Aka, a predator.

And then, after he loses his primary bid, he’ll endorse Trump, saying that even though he is deeply concerned, the Democratic candidate is worse.

Sure, but he’s still a senator for the time being, and in that time he could actually vote against the President he supposedly disagrees with, every now and then.

including from Max fucking Boot, who made an elder statesman call for civility

You do not have to be civil to Nazis. The “alt right” are Nazis. Sympathizing with Nazis makes you a Nazi. Millions and millions of people died proving that and anything less than full throated resistance is a betrayal of their sacrifice.

Trump supporters are actually trying to defend his tax fraud. My god. This is insanity. And saying that Trump shouldn’t pay taxes, because of his “lifetime of achievements”? He was fucking born into wealth. That’s not an achievement. Even then, as he grew older, as the report says, he kept failing at everything he did

You know, I believe Mitch McConnell when he says he’s been assaulted, but I can’t believe that he really accurately identified his attacker, the poor dear. I really think he might have been angrily berated by another Republican, and then forgotten who made him feel so bad.

Eric Dreiband, Trump’s nominee for the position of assistant attorney general, has an appalling record

i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him i hate him

He told reporters that it felt like Republican senators were “literally under assault” during the Kavanaugh hearings because demonstrators, many of them survivors themselves, confronted them over their decision to vote an accused rapist onto the Supreme Court.

The Wyoming Rule!

I think it’s a combination of just refusing to credit any women’s word with value where it’s not convenient, and a truly bad faith argument of not wanting the bad optics of indicating they think she is lying about the incident.

That’s the most insulting thing about this.

It really can’t be overstated or said enough how absolutely bonkers this theory is, because on a surface level it seems plausible, especially for people who know how unreliable eyewitness and identification testimony can be.

Christ, what an asshole.

Yes but we still need to fix our democracy. Arkansas, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Iowa, etc.’s tiny populations do not deserve the outsize influence of two Senators. They will not give up their tyrannical influence easily.

How are things in Moscow?  Cold?

I love how Republicans whine (falsely) that there is no evidence to support her claim, but will put forth any insane conspiracy theory based....literally no evidence.
