the bill of sale was a simple handwritten note

Agree - this would be 100% a pass for me if and when I am in the market for a new vehicle.  After living with CarPlay daily for the past 18 months in my new vehicle, there’s no way on earth I’d go back to a manufacturers shitty standalone interface.

Well I was interested in the new GM EVs.

Thankfully, this owl is safe after getting to spend some time away from Florida.

I think that’s probably it. I’ve had to go into Tesla Service a few times, and the problem really is there there are no Tesla Service centers in my state at all, so I have to drive to the neighboring state if it’s something that would require more than the mobile service van could handle, like replacing a bad camera.

We own two EVs and a PHEV. I got the first EV (an eGolf) in 2017, and the second (a Model 3) in 2021. In that time, I’ve had two total service appointments. The eGolf needed a warranty repair on a bad satellite radio antenna, and I had a HomeLink transponder installed on the Model 3. Other than the first episode,

I will, it’s the fucking post-Trump Republicans, they’re fucking fascist cultists.

I heard Acura came up with this Iridescent blue mimicking the colors found on Butterflies, truly is a beautiful color.

Reminds me of something my MSF instructor drilled into our heads- The road doesn’t matter as much as what’s next to the road when you crash.

You can almost bet they were in a container by 5am and loaded onto a ship at 6am, with a 7am departure.

My local Honda dealership (for some reason) has a tour bus that’s been on their lot for 6 months.

I assume it is a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy. You sell a bunch quickly, so you get more, then you sell those quickly and get more and on and on. Definitely odd though.

Separate the art from the artist

You cant separate the art from the artist when the ‘art’ is what keeps her relevant and influential enough to promote transphobia on a massive scale.

My only reservation with the GTO is parts availability. Sure, the drivetrain is probably easy enough to find parts for, since it’s GM parts-bin stuff, but interior bits and suspension make me nervous. If it wasn’t for that, I probably would’ve have bought one back when they were still less than $15k.

What do most of these have in common? They have CVT transmissions which IMHO sucks all of the joy out of driving. The Nissans in particular because their CVTs tend to self destruct at around the 50k mark

Hyundai/Kia are improving fast, and I think it’s clear at this point the Forte was part of their previous design cycle and is seriously outclassed within their lineup. I rented a new Sonata lately and it was leaps and bounds better than I was expecting, having rented the previous generation a few years ago.

Wow, if only there were a practical alternative to the compact SUV that wouldn’t suck to drive and had just as much space?

England says “Hi”! This is the approach sign for the so-called Magic Roundabout in Hemel Hempstead, and the line diagram that is supposed to explain it’s use...

In CT, Hartford, on the 84/91 interchange, traffic laws do not exist.
