Which is sad, because I’m interested in their stuff, but have heard horror stories about Hyundai/Kia dealerships.
These actions aren’t exclusive to the EV6, Kia dealers are always trying to pull this crap.
Gawd - I’m old enough that I’ve flown in a Pan-Am Boeing 707...
60 year old British wiring? Probably easier to yank the existing harness and start fresh than spending the rest of your life chasing one electrical gremlin after another.
The Kawasaki H2 is more terrifying than weird since it combined the acceleration of a circa 2000 sport bike with the handling of a mid 50s "hinge in the middle" Triumph Bonneville.
And yet you can still pick up lightly used, off-lease Lexus GX’s for a fraction of what they sold for new. Search AutoTrader and CarGurus nationally, I don’t understand why anybody is buying 4Runners and FJs (which are wildly overpriced) to offroad when a ~20K mile GX can be had under $40K.
This is one of the reasons we just bought a 2022 Lexus GX460. The resale is crazy because of all of these overlanders going nuts for anything Land Cruiser related.

The police and politicians there seem to support these chuckle fucks.
Police are never powerless. If they aren't doing something, it's because they don't want to.
+1 for Monel rivets in automotive applications they are expensive, yep boat and plane expensive, but are strong and resist corrosion when dealing with mixes of aluminum and steel parts, way better than stainless steel rivets in this combination. I did an aluminum race car interior once with hand riveter, it was days…
Plus lots of cheap hydropowered electricity. So it's cheaper to run an electric car.
Love. It’s what makes a Subaru a Subaru.
The UK show allowed them to develop their characteristics and then play into them. The US show just tried to copy that formula and cast to those types while treading a lot of the same ground that we’d already seen in the UK original.
The main problem is the low level parts. The parts that are used to make the parts they get from China. The US fucked themselves by allowing everything to go offshore in the name of the almighty dollar. China could literally strangle us to death if they wanted. Thankfully as their largest consumer that will most…
